That is personal preference imo, I tried PoE a few times and find it tedious and eventually boring as hell.... as the case will be with D3 in few weeks I am sure.

Nothing compares to D3 from a content perspective. Constantly updated and refreshed

I tried PoE and Grim Dawn - I still prefer D3
Those two are just too "clunky around the edges" / lacking polish
(copa will likely batter me for saying that about his beloved PoE).Anyhoo, back on topic, the reworked Thorns Damage in the latest patch makes the Crusader absolutely awesome to play - Sinbad was melting stuff with only 160K dps :wtf:

weapon dps is of no concern when going for a thorns build, the amount of thorns and toughness is key.

Gambled and gambled and gambled for that belt... Finally got it via donation from a Wiz :erm:
I'm gambling and gambling....
And crafting and crafting for the 2H sword needed (Blood Brother iirc). But T10 is currently possible so I can hardly complain

For thorns? you don't need a 2H sword do you? Pigsticker is the weapon of choice - fast attack speed and +dmg bonus?

I don't have that... Nor do I have any jewellery worthwhile cubing. No Ramaldi... So I'm kinda stuck at around GR45. I can survive anything (GR50 was a joke in a group) but no DPS
Also, it seems like +phys dmg is NOT an affix we want, along with area dmg.

I thought thorns was supposed to benefit from +phys though?
The builds I've seen prioritise area dmg for paragon points...

The 6pc bonus (primary source of damage) does not get +phys dmg (except from CoE, go figure).
Area dmg... I think solo it is probably still good, but in a group we're meant to be elite snipers, so then it is not good

I'm seeing MASSIVE thorns hits on everything around me... The trick with elites is to stand in their arcanes or lightning storms or whatever

It is against the rift guardian for sure, and anything else with high HP that is typically alive after the trash is gone. Even against trash, 600% x6 attacks per second will far outstrip the one or two hits you take in that time (excl elite affixes)... I think...

Still can't get over finding TX easy with 22k sheet DPS.
(toughness 60m without any of the skills active, 170k thorns)
Still need the belt, shield and cube weapon. And ancient gear. And bloody rubies are so freaking rare... And still need to level my gems
