DA Wants H.I.V Testing Without Consent

Probably working on people`s perceptions to take some stigmata away. Its almost 100% terminal. Sure you can live a little longer now, but its not like diabetes like theyre trying to con people that it is like.

I see they have extended life spans from 7 years to 24 years though.

It's stigma not stigmata but anyway if you actually tell people "you will die from this infection", maybe people will notice but to tell them it will be ok and you can live forever or it's a change of life yada yada yada people will not take you serious.

In the developed world HIV+ are killed more by causes other than developing AIDS. It is def. not a death sentence.

What are you talking about. There is no cure for HIV+ and the death rate is 100%.

LOL, ghoti been watching his movies haha :p

Yup at the moment people are told we have drugs to save you and make you live as long as people who are not infected. Fail message and it's only ensuring the spreading of this virus will continue to gather momentum.

There is no fear of AIDS anymore. It's not a death sentence so why use condoms? Why worry?

HIV/AIDS has an annual bill of R3bn #justsaying

Why would you refuse a free test? ( not saying make it public )

It has to do with your rights and the government controlling you via the free test. They plant all sort of things during the test and track you.

We all have rights, free tests should be illegal because our rights and freedoms come under attack.

So... you want the message to be a lie?

That and it looks like infection rates are reaching a plateau now so if anything it is losing momentum.

Oh dear heaven I'm being tracked...

:D

So free houses are also given with a plan. And toilets... they do DNA profiling with your poo!!!!!!

And free education is a way of brainwashing people... teach them what you want them to know....

We should stop all this free stuff.

wtf?!
The government can't even get e-tolling right, and you think they're implanting tracking devices in people?

Of course it is unless there are survivors from it. HIV/AIDs doesnt kill by itself. Its the killing of your immune system that kills you. Just cause you sit on death row for 24 years now instead of 7, doesnt mean that the end result is not the same. Death.

Lets not forget during this, you get ARV treatment... which is terrible.

Study please.
The one I have is maybe abit scewed.
Study?... I'm talking about our official HIV stats for the country. Don't you watch the news the story ran for about 2 weeks. Heck there was at least 1 thread on it here in CA at the time. There may even have been 2.

the one I found shows the amount of pregnant women tested has stayed the same. So the same amount of women still get infected and plus the amount that has already been infected? No mention of the amount of men. This also exclude people that does not get tested.

My problem is. that if 300 000 women ( just a number ) has been tested positive each year because they were pregnant what about the men and the people on the pill?

Is this not why we should have everybody tested. If it is just to let people know that 50% of people is HIV positive. That means that every second person you screw can make you sick?

( mine is just numbers as examples. )

Whether we like it or not, we have rules. Some rules have good results some rules have bad results. This sounds like a practical sound rule thats required for a while due to circumstance. No one has as of yet reasonably provided an argument that out weights the positive impact (in lives and financially) of compulsory HIV/AIDs tests (and/or the national DNA database).

Personally, I think the best way to implement it would be to make it compulsory to anyone who uses a medical facility. If you dont wanna get tested, phone your sangoma.
