for newer contracts yes but the older users would still use it. then bona fide mobile service my a....ss lol nobody ever uses it only for mobile use.

Your abuse of the service affects all of the rest of us. I'm not sure if you simply don't understand or don't care. Why? This is the reason we cnt have nice things.. If u want a cap then go and use other providers that have a cap.. The readon ppl turn to rain is because data with other providers is insanely expensive and should not be capped at all.. That line of thinking that data should be capped is not going to get ud anywhere.. How does people downloading 2tb plus for a service they paid for affect u?? Smh
I've never been against a cap. A cap won't make it more expensive. Just be upfront about it. It's because people go overboard with stuff and use it in ways it can't cope with that we can't have nice things. Why? This is the reason we cnt have nice things.. Fair cap.500GB for R250. Why should everything always be upped to only accommodate high usage?
Don't forget a number of people on this thread have already cancelled. If capping ultra high data users results in improved speed for the rest, those clients may be lured back.Fair cap.
Logically the uptake should be lower.
Exactly thats what i wanted to mention. Most people cancelled not because of high usage but because of network and maybe download speeds in their respective locations. rain is still growing so they need to install many towers in different locations.Don't forget a number of people on this thread have already cancelled. precisely my point500GB for R250. Why should everything always be upped to only accommodate high usage?
i highly doubt. i actually went from 40 - 90 megs and loving it
High usage = network congestionExactly thats what i wanted to mention. Most people cancelled not because of high usage but because of network and maybe download speeds in their respective locations. rain is still growing so they need to install many towers in different locations.
Define high usage? many people using the same network at the same time is high usage. Large downloads is not high usage bud lol.High usage = network congestion
https://www.speedtest.net/result/8361830774 i have been getting constant speeds so i do not know what happened to you.You doubt what I am experiencing?!
I think you are missing how cellular networks work. One person killing TBs of data a month implies less capacity for other people using the same towers. So, your selfishness to abuse the network directly affects other users in your area.Define high usage? many people using the same network at the same time is high usage. Large downloads is not high usage bud lol.
I was getting 40 Mbps for eight months, then it tanked 6 weeks ago and ended up at 5 KB/s last week.https://www.speedtest.net/result/8361830774 i have been getting constant speeds so i do not know what happened to you.
Will cross the bridge when I get to irI was getting 40 Mbps for eight months, then it tanked 6 weeks ago and ended up at 5 KB/s last week.
Your time will come.
Most probably you would be surprised at the number of people using rain.. Most people use fibre.. LTE has its own headaches and mostly affected by weather etcThis is R250. Do you think if it was R500 subscriber numbers would be the same?
Because of inherently its price point. Most probably you would be surprised at the number of people using rain.. Most people use fibre.. LTE has its own headaches and mostly affected by weather etc
