Hi guys

Anyone else got this message from Rain

High Data Usage.

Hi, we've noticed that you’ve used more than 1TB of data on your rain SIM (XXXXXXXXXXX).
This is a friendly reminder that rain is strictly for bona fide mobile use only. Please refer to the terms and conditions on the rain website regarding our data usage policy.

What would you say is fair ?

200 GB, 500 Gb, maybe 50GB ?

I think what I reckon is fair is not the issue but overuse of a limited substance handed to you generously without any imposed limits does not equate fair usage. If perhaps 1TB is what satisfies you then perhaps look at other alternatives otherwise we will look back to this moment here when rain introduces caps. I suggest you take a break KitKat and perhaps go play outside with other kids.
 
I'm afraid I have to agree, if you have the use of something, like the Rain unlimited service for almost nothing, Don't pull the ring out of it.

And I've been concerned about my 100GB being high. :unsure:

My daughter uses 200GB + on youtube/netflix on her tablet...

I agree, 1TB can be labeled as abuse, I work for an ISP and rarely see that kind of usage on a 100mbps fibre line even... The internet is not going anywhere so no need top try and download the whole thing....
 
2 x Xbox One with plenty of games to download pushes you over 1Tb in a few days.

Gears of war 4 - 100Gb x 2
HALO 5 - 113Gb x 2
Forza 7 - 110Gb x 2

So 750Gb before the other "smaller" game downloads and system updates.

XBox not really a mobile device lol
 
I wanna see if i can get some good antenna's for my B618.. for better speeds

Even so it's about constantly hitting those numbers.

People doing this usage on a mobile network like Rain are selfish. Guys if you max 50Mbps non stop what about the other people on the tower? It's not fair use at all when you consider how limited the bandwidth on a tower actually is.
