datasim.co.za

Actually, they said now that the product is meant for general browsing only. They try to restrict downloading and streaming.

There is no set FUP, but they will be monitoring usage and they will only cut off network abusers.

Any network does this. Anyway on normal browsing it will take a whole lot to use 10GB.

I'll be using mine and if it does not live up to what is being advertised I will lodge a complain with ASASA myself.

Because I was one of the first to order, my batch has already been dispatched so I should be receiving mine by Tuesday latest.

Stay away.

Some quotes from Data Sim:
Data Sim is the stroke of genius of Saeed Moosa, founder and CEO of Data Sim....
... Users will have access to Unlimited Internet browsing, Social media sites, watching of videos on facebook, downloading of small files, downloading and uploading of videos on whatsapp, downloading unlimited email attachments, uploading of images on social media sites and many more!....
.... The DATA SIM card is capable of offering you LTE speed dependant on the coverage area you are located in. You will receive speeds offered by the network provided you are in the area which offers that speed....
Service Type: Data & Voice Service.
Data Speed: Depending on area coverage.

Nowhere mentioned 256kb

Did anyone actually receive a SIM yet?

I worked out his little promo could earn him a heap of pre-paid cash, which he could quite easily run away with.

(R49 setup fee + R169 first months fee) X 2000 hopeful clients = R436,000.00

Not true at all. RAM couriers always give me a call a day or 2 ahead of time to inform me that they are delivering on a certain date, and the driver normally calls me about an hour ahead of time to inform me he is on his way to me.

Then you're very lucky to be contacted by the courier company. I have always dealt with courier companies, never In my entire life have they called to confirm a delivery schedule. They rock up to my place unannounced. Unless you stay in an isolated area and deliveries are done on a specific day then it's understandable.

Unless they phone to make sure you've the necessary documents for RICA purposes. However I do receive email communication from the courier

I have also been contacted for non RICA related deliveries in the past. Still waiting for my call from the datasim courier...

The courier they use is named CAA or something like that, its not one of the bigger names in the game I'm used to. My simcard is supposedly getting delivered tommorow at my work place, so I'll keep you guys updated. I'll also run speedtests on it and post it. I'm not in Telkom Mobile coverage, but will work via MTN roaming. First, I'll test it at home, 3G only, then I'll drive to a LTE area and test it there also.

Just had the call from the courier company. My sim will be delivered on wednesday
