[DBN] POS Solution for Prayer & Spice shop.

Good Day friends,

To put a long personal story (read fail on myside) short, the company i worked for before sold my bro a quickbooks package that was indeed illegal. Now 2 years later, support is non existent etc from said company.

However I completely responsible for 1) for trusting them in the first place & 2) one of the reasons i don't like to deal with matters that link family & the work place especially in the computer industry. Its

So i am calling out to any software devs or others that can help point me to a solution that is complete from the ground up for a Prayer & Spice shop with +- 500 entries that will be captured on the system. The capturing can be done ourselves after a small tutorial is shown .

So basically in a nutshell

* NEW Pc incl Monitor & if the software solution needs it, a windows package.
* Point Of Sale Software (local support as we are an hrs drive from DBN however telephonic support is good if callouts will be expensive :/)
*Your usual slip printer, Handheld Scanner & Till drawer + any recommended hardware from the sellers side.

This is for a single user only.

Budget wise 5-10k +-

Now i said Durban however if there are solutions that can work from further up then that should be okay, just want to get this going ASAP.

I recall a SA company that does POS, all you pay is a yearly subscription fee (cheap) that includes your support. Think it was based on a open source solution but I can't remember much about it.
