I agree with you B. They went overboard with catchup. Currently there 1061 titles populated. I am sure that will compromise available memory. This is affecting the " Shows you are watching" Which drop away when you delete a tittle from it and every time the decoder reboot. It only become available again after you have search for and watched one of your favorite shows only to drop away again after a reboot which with the current spate of load shedding is just about all the time. Thius has become a serious irritation to me.

I had HDD corruption on both the decoders recently. The 2a was easy to do format the drive but the 3A would not let me access the setting menu. Just before I took it in to MC I decided to try the front panel sequence to the format the disc and it worked. I could then use the settings menu to redo the formatting.
 
Why is it so difficult to get casting right.
Spent 50mins with "support", no idea what chromecast is and according to him all Samsung tv's are not supported anymore.

MC are currently drowning in streaming issues, likely due to a security update. Lots of threads about it.

Not everyone has access to a reliable and fast enough internet connection to do streaming. For Oom Koos and Tant Sarie on Witgatwortelfontein, a farm in the Karoo Hoogland District has no other options.

Because I can afford it. Also because I am not 16 years old anymore and old enough to decide by myself what I want in life. I do not have to follow the trend of other people to be in count. So please stop criticizing other people for their choice of lifestyle.
 
Wow, but try to watch DSTV away from home, it's impossible, the DSTV now app simply doesn't work, I keep getting the same error "streaming limit reached" I spoke to two operators who tried their best then I chatted to the online chat assistant for ages, tried everything , even held on for a manager to complain to, all i get is sorry the app has problems!! so i'm not able to watch DSTV on my laptop and so frustrated - what a waste of money and what a cheat especially when Multichoice are aware of a problem with their app and don't make us aware! Anyone else have the same issue?

Same error I get - using Ubuntu on my laptop. There's lots of complaints, you'll see other threads about Chromecast in particular. Been going on for weeks already.

Instead of the app try a direct stream from https://now.dstv.com/
Should be fine if you're running Windows.

Unless you're plagued by the same problem as me on one of the decoders....... then nothing works :mad:

I’m experiencing error Per 0 on the dstv now app using my Nvidia shield and iPhone. It’s almost impossible to watch any channels. Anyone else experiencing the same?
 
Hi has any one had error 403 when trying to watch showmax on decoder? The account is up to date. Shomax can be watched on pc and apple box no problem.
