Yep, this has been happening consistently with my 2A for months now ... sometimes it fixes itself, other times not.Looks like loadshedding has claimed its 1st victim.
Decoder says the HDD needs to be formatted due to corruption, I click yes but it just says HDD is formatting and it will reboot.
It doesnt reboot, oh well.

One of my 2As is constantly on disk full now. Tried formatting via menu and front panel... no joy. Both has been giving problems over the past year or so when playing recordings. Will get stuck and then continue or the actual recording is a bit "corrupted" . Original picture is fine. Also happens sometimes when rewinding or pausing live video . Both decoders are under "decoder-care " , so will probably get them swopped out, IF they have 2As in stockYep, this has been happening consistently with my 2A for months now ... sometimes it fixes itself, other times not.
My original Explora is still purring along nicely
P-Did they remove the ability to remove a show under 'TV Shows You're Watching'? The ARC button used to work for me.
Both my decoders suffered the same fate (explora 2A and Explora 3A)Looks like loadshedding has claimed its 1st victim.

I found this regarding replacing the HDDWhile we on the subject of failing HDD's, can one simply chuck in a new HDD/SSD and the decoder will make the partitions itself or is there manual work to be done in windows.
I know a long time ago I had to make 3 partitions on a HDD for my SD PVR, have things changed?
I suspect they've upgraded their security as streaming for us works on Windows but still won't work on Ubuntu (and possibly other Linux platforms) with the message that we're supposedly streaming elsewhere.Streaming Dstv via chromecast it plays for exactly 1min,then dstv logo comes up. If playing on mobile device there is no issue.
Any thoughts?
I don't get it, it's my own fully paid package, no sharing no nothing. 60 seconds then wham.I suspect they've upgraded their security as streaming for us works on Windows but still won't work on Ubuntu (and possibly other Linux platforms) with the message that we're supposedly streaming elsewhere.
Usage resets don't help.
Hopefully they're aware, though who knows these days..
Chromecast - Dstv Now - can't cast anymore. (old thread, see last page)Still cannot cast Dstv via any Google Chromecast in my house, am I the only sucker?
