Fairly confident you'd look up to me, as most do.

Maybe we can enjoy a Bunny Chow meal together, should we ever meet in person ๐Ÿคช
I would love that, I am planning on coming down to Athlone during the festive season to visit @FiestaST and @I.am.Sam
Plan is to club in and get a steak, egg, vienna, chips gatsby and a bunny chow with a 2l pineapple jive and head down to Muizenberg car park and chill and eat and enjoy the view
Will let you know when.

Doubt I'll be anywhere near there, but enjoy ......

So it seems that "Shows you are watching" has done a disappearing trick again. All gone, not even the old "quickly start watching anything and exit" would bring them back. annoying to say the least. At least i know there were 13 on my list....

Why is DStv's 576p medium quality streaming far worse than for instance the other example of same-size 540p streaming that follows??

Definitely a post that Canal+ management needs to see

DStv - compare to this 540p feed.png

Most probably bitrate. Also, I thought DSTV blacks out if you try SS? I know my nvidia shadowplay completely wonks out when I have a stream open.

Can someone please tell me if the DSTV Stream app on LG TVs is updated to support the newest features e.g. "Watch from Start" and basic PVR functionality. These features are now available on my Samsung TV app and IOS apps for many weeks, but not on LG TV. I have a fairly new LG, and it is up-to-date.

You've answered your own question, clearly not if not offered and it claims to be up-to-date.

DStv can take a long time to get anything done properly, when at all, just keep checking every week or so. Or maybe someone will have more to add here sometime.
I can't help further.

You are expecting too much from MultiChoice. They have bigger things to deal with currently than having to worry about a stupid app. They have pirates to catch.

Yeah, they like guys with 12 streaming boxes, that they pre-load with free streaming apps, and sell to those who are too inept to do it themselves. Then they attach "massive" headlines to the over exagerated reporting of the same "success" ... , floats their boat, I suppose

They have to satisfy their international content suppliers that they're making anti-pirate efforts, it's agreed to in contracts, and also expected from the Irdeto sub-company.

Who knows why this so far weak effort, they must have heard by now that people are seeing right through them and are widely sharing that news

Accidentally pressed the Showmax button on my Explora remote - message pops up - Showmax no longer supported on this decoder...

Technically it won't be, because of the showmax 2 change
