I think Disney+ is a bit worse for reliabilty and they don't even do live streaming
Haven't had much of an issue streaming Disney+, but I hate the login process with a pin and cell phone number. It's flat out dumb.

Nearly forgot - newer online guide's download feature hasn't worked right for over a week, now no way to search the second week online.

Finish watching a recording, ready to delete the file.... nope, we find ourselves back in the Home menu, have to make our way to the listings again and re-search for the title first.

Can't understand the thinking, even the newer-decoder users must find that strange.

And one more..
After resolving a conflict while in the TV Guide, it returns you to the default channel (the one live tv is on) instead of the one you were working on, and it returns you to today instead of the day you were working on, so you can't see the results of your adjustment without extra effort to get back where you were.

Really troubling developments.

Any idea where I can get the Advanced A10 Remote Guide so that I can programme the device to control my TV volume? Nobody at Multichoice knows what I am talkin g about, let alone help me. Thank you.

Sorry, I'm not going to be around much for a while.

What I do know; they planned to offer programmable options on the A7 but never did, they weren't included in the end development (got that straight from the remote's source).
So doubt any later remote models may include those advanced features.

Explora guide continues to be temperamental, since yesterday again reflecting earlier hours of the morning slots on the i-Plate.

Worst for me is what seems to be a lack of ability to record what's currently on after loadshedding, until it can recover enough about 10 mins. later.
Which is why I'm starting to find manual recordings more reliable again... when the channel sticks to their times.

The regular HD decoder did the same for a short while yesterday sometime, I noticed.

After switching between a few channels, the correct times displayed again ; checking again now, seems fine.

But as I can't record progs. to it, I don't place the same reliance on it functioning to the extent you (Explora users) do, though still annoying when it happens.

Seen over the weekend on the sport channels (probably elsewhere too) .. i-plate starting with early morning slots.... not the slot you're watching (although that one has the TV icon next to it) . Really irritating when you channel surfing a bit

On my Explora 1 box office yesterday, busy-loading message superimposed over content display, until reboot.
This morning - guide missing most of its channel lines in some areas for some days, and recording schedules missing the reminder-bell icon on reminder entries, until reboot.

This is software in crisis. Can't see a point in mentioning more.

If anyone had tuning or sticky channel access problems on satellite, seems fixed this morning but was related to some issue with transponder 11090V.

Surprisingly good performance on the whole with my decoders in this mad on-off loadshedding period, well done for that MC.

The top-of-page main dstv.com menu bar is now superimposed over the newer guide's buttons and options at the top.

Just finished a free month upgrade reward on a subscription, didn't correct itself. Checked my account online - I've been charged for the higher package now.

Unbelievable.
