The false no-online-connection icon.
Proved it last night - it was still red on my Explora about 3 minutes after the download I was doing resumed and reflected an increasing file size.

Are you still having this issue? Anyone else?
I am, for several weeks now. It will reappear after I have hunted down a prog I am watching but will then disappear again. It's quite annoying. I have the original old Xplora. (Explora 2 died many months ago so reverted back)

Some of these bugs tend to misbehave on some units, not on others, luck of the draw.

On my Explora 1, for weeks now Showmax no longer remembers any of my series or partly watched movies. Probably related.

So many bugs since the nasty GUI overhaul, only the ones that really trouble us get posted. Maybe MC will wake up now. Maybe not
 
Nice fat icon in the top right of my screen yesterday - turned out to be an advert in the Explora's messages, about some supposedly essential security insurance offer in partnership with MC.

Don't do that again MC, don't interfere with my screen for your profit games :mad:

Not to forget about that Pele graphic that stays there during the whole football game!! For a minute or so I can understand but....
And the annoying animated logo that ran throughout, and before, the World Cup?
 
That "N" icon is seriously annoying and there doesn't seem to be any way to disable notifications. Grrr.

Before the start they had that logo on ALL the sport channels. Serious lack of intelligence there these days it seems.

What is that about? I first noticed it on CNN, so I thought it was something to do with them. Then I realized it is on other channels, so I realized it is a Dstv issue. I can ignore stuff floating at the top of my screen but that is right in line of sight.

Don't know what is going on with the schedules. Chicago Fire s10 has suddenly appeared on ME from tomorrow at 14:30. Shown every day but not always at the same time & with no repeats. It is unusual for them to start a new show at that time. I'm hoping it is mess up on their side & it will disappear. Load shedding is going to mess with my attempts to record it and S9 ended on one big cliff hanger. I'll be annoyed to miss how it plays out.

Explora 1 messed up my recordings of Fridays My life is Murder double bill. The first episode was a bit late and was cut off into 2nd episode, the Explora labeled it as Private Eyes in the info bar. I don't know if it took a bit longer than it should have to start recording episode 10. But the last scene from episode 9 recorded on episode 9 and the proper closing scene of episode 9 recorded with episode 10. They don't seem to follow on from each other. Episode 10 may be a complete stuff up anyways. On the info bar it is showing: 0 min No information. The counter on right side of screen is showing 53 min recorded. Oh yes and repeats have magically disappeared. I think catchup is going to be that safest bet here. I haven't had time to check my other recordings. But Dstv seems to be going through a lets mess with our subscribers phase.

Oh yes recording The Goldbergs off 194 has also been a hassle of late.
 
They used to have these icons or whatever in the mid 00s/early 2010s. Never thought they would bring this crap back in 2023. Seriously annoying, just like the Namola ads. Who thought this was a good idea?

Press the Help button (bottom right of your remote) , select "Messages"
 
Air Crash Investigation started 30 mins after advertised start (18h42 instead of 18h12). But bang on 19h00 the program stopped half-way and the next scheduled one started

And for a change this was not the 5th repeat…!
 
Much preferred older online guide has collapsed again this morning (newer guide is okay).

Have to say it's been ages, they really did manage to fix this one finally.. at the cost of removing its ability to search, but hey..

Yip, every time after the daily reboot... both Ultras. Part of my daily routine to "recreate" the list :mad:
 
So I have no channels on both my LG TV app as well as my Mi Box App, web interface and phone app works fine ... anyone else?

Also when you P- delete a watched series when finished - vanishes immediately. And other random times as well. Not just on daily reboot for me.
