Can we please get the NETFLIX app in the local Samsung App store? It's about time I think. You give us GOOGLE maps, what do I want with GOOGLE maps on my TV?

Multiple people have confirmed the app is available on their TV's without changing region after the Netflix announcement.

Changed my region to the UK (some interesting apps). Got Showmax also working, so will keep it UK region for now.

I can also confirm, no router trickery, I reset the Smart Hub and made double sure it's set to SA, Netflix is available, last update 7 January, TV model is H6400.

Im trying to get it on my Smart HUb on the Samsung blu ray player. No luck. It should be in the App store, but nada. Region or Area on my PS51D550 is locked, I cant change it either.

Slightly off topic - how are you enjoying the H6400? If all goes well I'll be getting one on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I haven't done my research with the Blu-ray players but if the TV's are anything to go by changing the region takes 20 seconds and you get Netflix. The D550 isn't a Smart TV, where would the app be?

I've had it more than a year now and she treats me well, just adjust the default picture settings to work in the room you use, the apps are fast and it even natively supports HEVC.

It wasn't on my TV at first. Then I went to "popular" apps on the apps store and it was there

Still nothing for LG, but this is for the OS that got released before WebOS.

It lives on the Blu Ray player, just as on the TV.

Just wondering why the region on your TV would matter, it's not a Smart TV so it doesn't have apps. If you check your Blu-ray player model number I can tell you how to change your region, it's really easy and then you can have Netflix and everything.

The Netflix app just appeared on my Samsung smart TV last week.
