Black people should not involve themselves in this thread. This whole topic emanates from a white lady who wrote something that pissed off white people and daveza opened this thread so that whites can vent their anger. Black people should not tangle themselves in this racial discussion. This is whitemans problem, blacks must just observe. From a white persons frame of reference everything is falling apart but Einstein tells us that it's all relative.

4. Have YOU ever visited ANY South African historical monuments (on your own accord and free will, not a mandatory bloody school trip)? From your prior answer, have YOU visited any Apartheid museum, or any monument that aims to make people aware of the realities of Apartheid?

Now did I OD, or is it still hard to comprehend the point that is trying to be made, without you derailing the point? If you need the questions asked on an even more specific level you can ask away and I will do so gladly:).

From the recorded history I know, The original Khoi and San people were originially settled in what is now the Northern Cape, part of Eastern and Western Cape, part of Botswana, part of Namibia all the way to parts of Southern Angola. That is the only recorded "history" I know. The Niger-Congo speakers (or what you probably refer to Bantu blacks today) are assumed to have settled from central Africa to Southern Africa, and even thse "blacks" are varying clans (Which in South Africa are Tswana's, Sotho's (Northern and Southern) being part of similar clans, Zulu's, Xhosa's, Swati's, Ndebele's being part of another group, Venda's, Tsonga's etc being another group, all these AGAIN broken into other sub clans). Now who within those clans stole from the Khoi and "deserved" to have their land stolen from themselves? Tswana clans? Seeing they settled in parts of where original Khoi and San are recorded to have settled prior? Who is the thief that stole land before and who deserved to have their land stolen by another?

And if this is the end of and be all reasoning, and this logic, from what I know about Khoi & San settelements, Europeans had no right to then take Zulu, Xhosa, Swati, Venda, Tsonga, Shona, Sotho land as from this "theft" deduction, only Tswana's are guilty of "stealing" land from the Khoi. From what I recall, even the Khoi and San today are not assimilated into Tswana clans, so what exactly did Bantu blacks steal and from whom?

South Africa isn't a continent and the Europeans didn't become the majority in India or any other African country which they colonised. North America and Australia, while substantial does not constitute "ANY"

Correct, in countries previously ruled by the minority though, economic power has gone back to the majority (even though current African economics are not exemplary, which is a topic for another day), citation needed on that as I don't have numbers of businesses owned by white people in India vs naturalized Indians. The point being made is that in even the countries you mentioned, the shift of power in those countries naturally went back to their majority of the population, which in South Africa hasn't happened, and the minority are quick to dismiss because it isn't an issue to them. Africa before Europe did just fine as far as trade an economies of the those periods, I don't see why naturalized balancing of economies shouldn't happen at all in South Africa or be dismissed as being paranoia or the fault of the ANC alone!

I doubt Americans would find the balance of power "perfectly normal" if American minorities were in control mostly of the economy or higher classes (i.e. imagine Hispanics/Latin Americans, Chinese and African Americans being the one's living in the Hamptons and running all those businesses while all Caucasian Americans are the one's in project developments and on welfare), that is the closest analogy I can give on the subject matter because it clearly seems to be "If it's not happening to me/us, it's not my problem".

The point that was being made is how daveza was trying to historically prove Bantu africans were thieves to begin with (presumably stealing from the Khoi-San, a point the Freedom Front+ has been arguing in public). DNA migrations are far more deeper as even if we went back to those periods or before, we'll start arguing how all races are from Africa to begin with. This is about who found who here in Southern Africa and the constant "we didn't steal anything, if we did it was stolen already" nonsense. I gave everyone group area acts to read up on in their own time to see where this whole "theft of land" issue began for native Africans. If you want to take it back to 140 000 years, we can start arguing who were native Britons/Iberians/Persians etc just to make a point. Let's keep it in context as far as the last 1000 years because once you take it as far back as DNA migrations it becomes contentious.

BTW I agree on DNA migrations, have watched a few doccies on it and it's highly fascinating! Ollie Steeds also had an episode with the subject matter and wanted to find out where he was from (as well as who were the real Aryan race and so on). Loved it!

Lol not with me? Elaborate on that before I take it as an offense lol. Have the powers of economies returned to the majority? Really? Just because Zuma in power, the cabinet mostly black and they distribute money amongst themselves, it means everything is hunky dory now and it's all even? Mind you I grew up in a very comfortable situation but I have come to sympathize with people in lower classes than me because that is how I was brought up and taught to understand the plight of the have nots. I have never went to bed hungry nor do I know what it is to struggle with something as simple as not having water, but I have willingly put myself in and amongst those people because I can see that even if my parents are the few who "made it", it doesn't mean everyone else did. I argue with this "chip" because my mother grew up with her grandparents (a situation most black South Africans found themselves in by default), just because her father had to go into exile because he was a member of the PAC and fought apartheid. So excuse my not embracing my comforts and still trying to help other people I could have well been in their shoes had any of my elders chosen a diff path. Excuse my even speaking up against the ANC when I can see them selectively choose who to bestow "Apartheid Freedom Fighter Heritage" and you might view it as me not having gotten the power yet which has been "transferred" to me because you feel unfairly judged :)
