I say yes, then next weekend you'll be building your PC :), oh don't forget SATA cables and power cable.
 
The MB should come with at least 2 sata cables but check. PSU sometimes comes with power cable but not always. Check if the shipping cost from woot & rebel is less than buying frim just woot or rebel, takealot shipping is free.

Both power supplies I've bought didn't come with the cable :-( and that's within the last 6 months. The SATA cables yeah come to think about it probably will come with the mobo, but for R40 better be safe.

Sata & power cables included.

Another option for a bit more is a m.2 ssd vs normal sata one but no biggie.

Some do and some don't, I recall at one stage woot had the same corsair listed twice but like R10 price difference, on had a power cable the other not. It usually states in the description or specs whether a power cable is included.

They do and don't stress the motherboard comes with two and the PSU with a plug :)
 
I have never got a PSU with a power cable included, those sometimes come with towers sometimes not.

How the hell do you plug in two drives on the same data cable?

Some come with power cables.

Two drives two cables, mb comes with two sata cables.
 
Sorry got abit busy in the office... even with 2 delivery, it is still better to split.
I wont buy the cables

do i need to worry about the RAM compatibility? just a reminder of the board and RAM

The RAM and mobo are what my buddy has and it's fine.

I would rather not risk it, I don't want to mess up my first build or get frustrated in the process...

what would my next option be, that will be compatible with the board? I assume I need to get memory that is 3200MHz or higher?

done some further searching... it needs to be 3200 or higher...

I think my options are the following...

I am liking the second one for R1,349... will it work?
or should I go for G.skill 3rd/4th ones... not that I know the difference...

Nope that just means it supports 3200 it should work with lower. There are G.Skill ripjaws V that should work as they seem to be the same as my Trident Z but without RGB.
Though the aegis should work as my friend got them and that motherboard, but it does seems it's possible to have issues.
