Yup seems the Ripjaws and Tridentz are tested. So my buddy got lucky.

Phew never knew the Ryzen could be so fussy, I just got the TridentZ RGB for my Gigabyte B450 and my buddy just got the Aegis for that Asrock without any issues.this is what I will get... the G.skill TridentZ memory seems be compatible with a few boards...

The TridentZ is on the Raven qvl...Something that just crossed my mind is that the 2400G is a Raven ridge chip and not pinnacle ridge despite it's 2x00 model so the qvl I linked to is incorrect.
