not the answer i wanted... what would you recommend for atleast R1700/R1800... trying to not get to R2000
There really isn't anything in that price range as good as the asrock, for the price you get decent vrms/heatsink/power delivery, 4 ram slots, full size atx board. The distributer corex is out of stock and will only have stock in 1-2 weeks.
The MSI you listed will work fine though, I just don't reckon it's good value for money though.
hey ponder... do you know if the tomahawk supports the Rayzen 5 2400G?
Yes it will, it will support all ryzen processors.

Cases come down to personal preference, I prefer sleek elegant designs and can't stand this whole rgb craze where everything is lit up like a xmas tree
Pick what you like, look at pictures of internal layout, see how many fans it comes with and make sure the MB you pick fits in the case ATX vs mATX size.

there was something I did not like when I was reading abut the Bazooka, but I will look into this again.

you dont want 2400 memory.
