Degrading Telkom LTE Uncapped speeds

Yeah this is what i get...this is a good night. i just give up...R650 a month and i cant use it :-(
 
Been using this service since April.

I have had great experience up until last week with this service.

I am getting about 20-30mbps down which is more than sufficient for me and typically between 4-8mbps up.

since last week I have been experiencing less than 250kbps up while downloads are still about the same.

Just replaced the Huawei B315s with a tp-link cat 4 lte router which is similarly spec'd to the B315 but includes a IPsec VPN client. no luck with replacing the router. uploads still the same.

logged a call with Telkom last week and sent the B315 in for repairs ... waiting to hear from them.

I see some impressive speeds of 80mbps down. can you share your configurations ? antennae , router etc.
 
Logged a ticket with Telkom. Not expecting anything, but one can hope.

At the moment, I cannot use my internet when I want/need to so paying R799 for it isn't gelling.
 
TELKOM should be charged ! What about the money wasted by clients? i had to use other mobile data.
 
Its time telkom respond to these Low speed issues, its getting quite ridiculous, that we are all paying for a service and not enjoying even 50% of its potential cause most of the time we getting 2 - 4mb adsl speeds and unstable also. :whistle::wtf::mad:
 
We also were about to take this contract out.

Sandton area during the day we get Max 9Mb if we find descent signal.
 
Getting roughly 60Mbps down during the day, latency in WoW is around 180-190ms. During the evening after 19:00 all goes to ****.
 
Was pinging sub 40ms 30min ago.

While I graciously accept the 4mb+ for browsing, gaming is a no no.
Consistent with the last few month with a marginal improvement on dl post 1900, for now.

As mentioned by someone else. I'm going to hit it now. Telkom don't want to fix it so if I want to download anything I'm going to hammer it but I'm going to make sure that I will only hammer it when the latency is like this.

Maybe then. I did notice that even though it's congested like this I can still hit usenet SSL 50 connections it downloads @ 7MB/s. I think it's because my tower is not congested just the backhaul so I'm basically just adding to the congestion. :)
