Are you in Cape Town? Are you saying that it works on one Cell-C SIM and not another Cell-C SIM?This cannot be the case, as roaming works fine on my other cellc sim.
It sounds to be like they are only doing this in areas with full coverage, just as ajax figured:What happens when there's no cellc coverage? Must we just be satisfied with no data connection?
Could it be that roaming is disabled in some areas but not all? I.e. where there is "sufficient" coverage for Cell C Vodacom has disabled roaming?
Cell-C contract SIM?Yes, in CPT. 3 sims next to me. Two prepaid ones work, whereas my contract sim is not working.
There is no reason for such statement. It could be other reason. How old is your SIM? Maybe it needs software update or sim swap.I'm sure CellC's response about VC's towers being disabled are not true. Then why is my other sims working?
VC roaming may not yet have been disabled in your area and you may be experiencing a different problem with your Cell-C contract SIM.I'm sure CellC's response about VC's towers being disabled are not true. Then why is my other sims working?
And what if your SIM is just faulty? What did you do from your side to fix this problem? Go to the place you have purchased the contract. Its my sim in question, cell c needs to provision it.
