Ovulating women tend to feel more adventurous and sexual, which could explain why she made the suggestion for them to hook up and now seems to not find the idea as appealing. She mentions that she lives far away in an attempt to make the meet-up less-appealing or inconvenient for the OP as she might feel guilty about letting him on and needs him to drop it as opposed to she rejecting him. If she is heavy pre-menstrual and he peruses this in another couple of days, she might tell him to fsck-off quite bluntly.

In summary yes, OP, you are being (hormonally) rejected.

Well you don't live any further than her. Just keep it light. A girl and myself once promised each other for months we were going to meet up, I was in Durbs she in JHB, but each time something came up from either my side or hers. This lasted for about 6 months. We did eventually meet and laughed about it. Don't stress OP, putting too much pressure on yourself.

Unless you guys have gotten to know each other quite well or she's a slut she's probably not hinting that you pick her up or that either of you sleep over. Tbh, it does sound like like she's getting ready to flake.

Its a game they play by cooking up excuses for you not to see her when she clearly wants you to.

I only see a problem if you need to take 4 minibuses to get to her.
