She put the ball in your court by indicating she would be willing to meet up, you've returned serve by asking her to meet up. The ball is in her court as she now has to say yes or no to your invitation. All I would say is don't dwell on it and wait for a response. If no response or the answer is a ''No'' I'd personally move on and leave it as a simple work relationship or whatever it is.

Long story short: Woman tells me that we should get together some time.
Chick commits

A week or so later I tell woman that I'd like to take her up on her offer to meet and ask if she is free this weekend.
Horny guy commits

Woman says she is busy Friday but will let me know about Saturday. Woman then immediately says that she lives far though, emphasising the point about living far.
This is a test. What she's asking is....can you go the distance? Can you take the leap and stay over?

Why did woman emphasise the fact that she lives far? Why say we should meet then raise the issue of travel distance?
Over analyzing simple scenario

I am an awkward panda when it comes to woman, so I am not very good at reading them.
Any man able to read a woman is gay...

OP thinks too much. Here's my story

Was at Pick n Pay lunchtime. Cute cashier asks me when am I gonna get a smart shopper card cause she always sees me there. I tell I don't care about it. She says if I take the card she'll give me her phone number. I agree, she gives the digits.

So now that I have her number I'll contact her to see if she has anything going on this weekend. Or maybe this was an eloborate ruse she used just so I card take the card. Does PnP pay cashiers extra if they sign up customers?

Am I overthinking things?

Well if she was cute I highly doubt she would have been interested in you if that's what you're asking :whistling:
