At varsity there was this girl that would come sit next to me during lectures, she was not bad at all and I was going to make a move when I saw that she had a whole whack of bible verses stuffed in her pencil box.
I weighed it up and decided even though she was nice, I wouldn't pursue her as I had some bad experiences with some of the more hectic bible recruiters on campus.

I met my now wife shortly after that and in some bizzare co-incidence this girl and my now wife were friends at school... even though my wife was at a completely different university now they saw each other from time to time.

A while later we made the connection as I think I occasionally ran in to the other girl and one day my wife was visiting me at varsity.

I admitted much later on how I was interested but had backed off because of the bible stuff and she laughed because it was just her mom that would always stuff that kind of thing in to her bag... she was not into church at all.

Fek... this is why I really struggled at varsity.

So, in typical fashion I over-analysed the situation. She got back to me and our meet up turned out great, in my opinion. Coffee lasted 2 hours and then walked around for an hour or so more. Enjoyable afternoon/early evening.
