Did you mod your car?

This thread has proved two things:

Baxteen is a semi-successful troll (9/10 on content, 6/10 for execution)
saturnz is still as easy to troll as ever (10/10 on butthurt)

As for the Accord, bone stock, though I may go the turbo route with her one day for ****s and giggles.

I'm 100% for this if you doing it for the laughs and knowing you prob going to violate the engine by adding a few more holes in the block. Listen, I have had a Polo 99 I sent bucket loads on since I wanted a normal aspirated engine that ROCKED. I raced at places like Black Rock tarlton and the likes.

Looking back at it now I know how retarded that was, I spent way over R 150k on a car I bought for around R 50k back then. All just to be cool and have people come drool over your car. It's retarded, glad I grew up.

You wanted to build an e36 M3... I'm only commenting on what you said. Maybe another ninja edit on the cards?

still can't read I see

please quote exactly what I said with respect to that build so we all can see.

I am an assh*le.

I second that. That is the most intelligent thing you have posted //ignore on//

You gonna hate me, I most likely could have saved global warming instead of spending on mods for my car.

Not from boksburg!

Hectically modded WRX, 12,5 year ownership, dealer serviced. no accidents.

and just to add

even if I did buy a faster car, I would probably modify it, and if I purchased a bike, I would probably turbo it as well.

So I still am not sure whats the point of your rants.

you're ninja edits bitting you in the arse now :D

but if I really wanted to take up the challenge, a turbo e36 M3 would easily cost under 180k and would drive away from most bikes, and I'm sure that would include yours.

ffs, bring a damn Bugatti. Just not a GTR, I tried that against a mate and lost :o

see the trick there is "but if I wanted to..."

I don't want to, because I got other interests. I spent 15 years modifying and driving fast cars, I want to do other stuff now.

saturnz!

Good to have you back. You brought this thread to life... Would love the honour to shake your hand and sit in your cars, one day.

So far:

Bonnet Protector
Radial Arm Cup Protectors - Keep hitting the Radial Arms

Next:

Lift kit
All Terrain Tires

Volvo S40 T5 2009 model.
Stage 3 software
bigger Intercooler (4 times bigger to be exact)
76mm downpipe and decat.
Still need to do CIA, but will do that once motorplan is out at end of year
Then maybe new software later on
I'll upgrade breaks when or if I get to 250Kw +

What I have learned from this thread is that I need to upgrade my suspension because I have fitted new lights and wheelcaps, otherwise I will have a head-on accident with a bus, and on that bombshell....

Of course, modding cars is a money pit, but we do so because it makes us happy. It's a hobby, no better or worse than extreme overclocking, hand-gliding, photography etc. that will also cost a fair bit of dosh. At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether you prefer a spanner or a Canon 5D in your hand, it's the enjoyment you get out of it that counts.

Don't worry I'll be gone again tomorrow.

You may be gone tomorrow, but the memory of the Delta Motor Corporation of South Africa Opel Monza 160i GSi car of the year 1991 will live on throughout the ages.

What I have learned from this thread is that I need to upgrade my suspension because I have fitted new lights and wheelcaps, otherwise I will have a head-on accident with a bus behind me, and on that bombshell....
