DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Yup, agree , I don't see anywhere on the site where the details of the bursting are mentioned , nor have I seen mention of the "bursting to double the speed" . Could someone like Lightscribe (I noticed that he had said this) please point us to where this has been mentioned? Do you know something we don't know? :confused:
 
Imo it's a minor issue, but I can't afford a 4mb line. :D I think the person who told you that maybe misunderstood or wasn't well informed, maybe they just thought it would be doable at the time. Maybe it still will be when the issues are ironed out.

They should change the wording on their site though to prevent confusion and dissatisfaction.

Then DigiChilli need to change the info on their site, since what they have written on their FAQ's is not the real truth.
 
Actually it was CambodiaDave who told me it will burst to full line speed, ie 4mbs for the 4mb users.

LightScribe, they need to post that kind of information on their website. Not every1 reads mybb. People who go to their site are being told one thing and end up getting something completely different.
 
@ Lightscribe. MYBB is not DIGICHILLI'S website! if they want to make announcements of their service it should be done on their own WEBSITE!! and not on some forum that they don't even provide a link to. Where do you think the average joe should get info about their services? they removed their own forum. Should we just use the contact us feature? As most of the ppl stated it sometimes takes dave & co very long to reply as they are busy. Do you work for DC? why you defending them when they are blatantly advertising falsely?

I just got hom to my RS being at a complete standstill and my turrents (I'm starting to call them that since they move like a turtle) running at about 1.6kB/s ... blech :sick:

EDIT: and I cannot even access the RapidShare site ... @Dave your shaper is overly zealous again - it should be set to 32kB/s/customer not 32b/s/customer :|

Download What'sRunning. Sometimes other programs are actually updating without any notification, which I'm sure, causes many of the low speeds experienced by people at times.

When Kaspersky updates, it hogs the bandwidth and almost freezes Secondlife, which is left with 1-2K to just tick along, until the update is done.



You are thus running at the perfect speed. Double your paid for, burstable package. ;)
