DigiChilli January Status and feedback

my account is bouncing around i saw my torrent spike to 60kb/s and this is on the spicy account... this month to date i have done 96gigs...not bad for the account im on but terrible for my 4meg line but then again where can u get 100gigs for R100?
 
Thats the whole problem....how can the 4MB-line guys be on spicy accounts for R240 & download unlimited @ 300-400kB/s :confused::confused:

If that's the case....who will ever apply for the more expensive packages :erm:

Flipping hell! I have yet to hit the 2Gig mark. The only downloads I'm currently interrested in are the games I've purchased via Steam and I can't even log in. I still have 70Gig worth of games (15 games in total) to download.

Last month I managed about 20Gig. That means I still have (With luck) 3 months to stick it out with DC which would (if the discounts keep applying) cost me R720.

In Telkom bandwitdh that is 11gig worth of extra cap wich leaces me 59Gig short so not an option

Well now I am back to the lousy speed again. WTF. :mad: Maybe that is why they took it down!:mad:
 
Just called and they say that they're STILL busy with the maintenance they were doing yesterday and that it'll be up in a couple of hours. Why the choose to do this maint for so long in the middle of peak times escapes me but I think its absolutely ridiculous that the service is unavailable more than it's actually running.

I'm on the Spicy account with a 4mb line and top speed I got today was 60KB/s...
 
Got mine up and running, MSN, Gtalk logged in fine, Astraweb going at around 15-25k/s, Gmail works, browsing works, could be a bit faster though.

Any special settings for Astra? Port to use? Article CMD? SSL? Select Group? And how many connections should I use, 384k line?
