Getting a solid 30.2kB/s with bursts up to 44kB/s here. Maybe DC us tweaking too much they had it perfect yesterday. Torrents are also around 27-30kB/s.
 
Hmmmm well it's stabilized a bit now. Mostly on 30kBs with occasional dips to 23/24. Seems like I burst the wrong way.
 
hey guys how is the stability these days and is it still going for 240 or is it 300????
 
all was going so good for me and then this afternoon I ended up with no DC.....have e-mailed them twice with no reply and still don't have any DC

DC is starting to circle the toilet this side. I can barely get 10kB/s on a single threaded download where I got a solid 30kB/s just hours ago. Maybe DC is after me too now :wtf: in any case I don't think it'll be too long til DC fix the problem (again). :)

Same here, very unstable and the 20KB/s wall is back,

Everything seems to be extremely good this morning. Torrents are flying and might just be as good as HTTP! Only problem I have is single threaded downloads are terrible, solid 30 yesterday compared to an unstable 10kB/s-25kB/s today. Wonder what happend. :)

Hope you get sorted ASAP.

Is anyone else experiencing dropped downloads from mediafire? Or anywhere else for that matter?
 
Thanks got sorted ....they had suspended me for non-payment....then found out I had paid on Friday and they had made a huge mistake with my user name etc......

ai Sally it seems you're struggling loads? :( I'm still on my 3G. :/
 
THings are alot more stable this morning. HTTP is steady at 14kB/s single and up tp 44kB/s max on multi threaded downloads. When using a download manager I notice that speeds rarely dip below 30kB/s. Torrents are ok speeds are between 25kB/s to 35kB/s, took me 15 hours to download just over a gig through torrents.

Today is looking good :)
 
There are waaaaay to many posts to read so not sure if it's been mentioned but does Digichilli have news server access? I see their local is supplied by SAIX.

Ah OK thanks will wait for SAINET then.

They offer uncapped on 384kbps for R500 including line.
Digichilli is R300 + R152 for 256kbps.
I don't mind paying R48 more for better speed and undoubtedly better service.
