DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Hi, anyone from DigiChilli here ?

any NEWS on prices etc ?????

come on DC...its almost month end...ppl are going away....let us know whats the situation now....

I'm more concerned about speeds being AWFUL for 3 days now. (15kBs at best)

Every time I call I'm just told "It really shouldn't take long".

Unfortunately I'm not quite sure what their definition of "long" is :/

It does suck the big one and I mean the biggest one

Also seems that IS is having problems with their network, but I am pretty sure DC is on Telkom's network? Either way 3 days of hell needs to be fixed. I just wonder if people have enough patience for DC anymore.

For the past 3-4 days speeds have been crap, especially today I'm getting 5-9KB/s.
Funny thing is this month was the best I've had(just about full speed 24/7) up until a day or two after MWEB announced there uncapped packages, the speeds for Digichilli have been going down hill ever since.
I go to there website to see if there is a network problem and according to them the Network Status states "All is good" dated 26 March 2010.

This really is not the best way to retain your customers Digichilli.

Do they pay you or something

No. I merely remember who started the uncapped war. I want them to sell the new products also.

I may just stay with DC also, since the speeds are getting great for me, now that the heavy users are migrating.

Spicy package, 384k line.

Does Digichilli still give refunds?
I paid on the 13th this month when speeds were great but for the past few days the speeds have been absolute ****e with no reason why, atm I am only able to get 4KB/s with Rapidshare.
Would a refund still be possible after 14 days? and how would I go about requesting a refund?

Speeds finally picked up again around midnight. Hope it stays this way.

Not are speeds back to normal but I believe even the packet loss (local) has finally been fixed! Yes it means Battlefield Bad Company 2 (yes even though it says pings are 999) is playable at long last on a Spicy package!!! Even International seems to be improving in terms of latency. Here are a few ping tests which can be taken with a pinch of salt of course:

Now DC what about a price reduction or better packages ;)

Mine died briefly but is back now.

If the problem persists call them. 3 times this month they've suspended me due to "non-payment" even after having sent them the proof the first time, so usually when the invalid username pass problem comes up I'd suspect it's this issue lately.

DC seems to be going up and down. Back up now and speeds are 38kB/s +

Just wondering what the hell is going on

Mines back up n running smoothly again...
Their site was also "offline" when the accounts were dead...
All is well thou...

Cheers
D

Just restarted my router and my connections is still dead.

Edit: Okay my connection is finally working again.

Anybody notice torrents are running at full speeds and then some? First time ever have I seen a torrent go to 40kB/s and burst up to 50kB/s while uploading at a steady 10kB/s :wtf:

If DC could maintain this and bring prices down to even close to MWEB then I'd stay for sure :)

But this is DC....
