DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Speeds are improving on my side! :D Took forever but hey I'll enjoy these good speeds while they last :)
 
How's the speeds for you guys? I'm getting pretty stable speeds of 30kB/s + I hope it lasts :)
 
Today has been awesome, my speeds have been 35-46KB/s all day long, it even reached 57KB/s at one point.
 
Not quite the same here, 26kBs peaking.

Also got suspended for imaginary "payment issues" AGAIN........*sigh*............
 
Yeah something aint right. Speeds seem to have crashed sometime early this morning. Was getting pretty much over 30kB/s and now I'm struggling to get anything over 22kB/s. Even worse is the fact I get kicked out of Battlefield Bad Company 2 which never happend before. Yes the Spicy account isn't meant for international gaming but c'mon you can't tell me local gaming is off limits too :erm:

Not a great start to the month DC not at all. Unless you wow us with price reductions and maybe that news server you promised since December I don't see you going any further and it's sad because I am one of your biggest supporters. I just hope you do have an ace up your sleeve :o

Speeds have taken a nose dive. For the past half an hour I've been getting 3-10KB/s, I hope DC fixes it soon.

Edit: speeds are back again. :)

I must ask you all one question? WTF would you all stay with DigiChilli considering the other services that are out there?
 
Because EVERY other service has mixed reviews at the moment. EVEN Mweb's 384 package has several users claiming to only get 10-15kBs during the day, most of last month I recieved DOUBLE those speeds all day.

At the moment DC is strangely a better deal, and until I hear solid compliments on another providers 384 offering I probably won't be moving.
 
Agree Basjohn, and actually this month i have gotten full line speed (384) 99% of the time on all protocols. And because me and friend share a mild account with the 20% discount its inline with all the other offerings, but without any shaping. Maybe I'm one of the lucky few with the speeds I'm getting but when I had a problem I almost stalked their support by calling, emailing and phoning them until my issue was resolved.
 
Was having a decent day with DC but went out and when I came back DC was struggling to get past 20kB/s :erm: I still wont worry seeing as I've already got a lot of stuff to catch up on thanks to DC ;)

I might even give BFBC2 a go :D
 
Speeds have been 30-40KB/s for me pretty much all day but my connection died around 2am-3am this mourning for I'm guessing around 10-30 minutes.

DC died for about a minute or 2 came back up and was looking very good. Died again and is now loooing K@K again. 3rd time is a lucky charm? :)
 
I have a 384 uncapped package(mweb) that i bought from openweb.Its valid till end of this month for R100.I used it for testing purposes and i must say that i was impressed.Im still at SAOL till the end of the month and thats why i want to sell the mweb account.PM me if you interested.

you using the spicy account? When i was using a spicy account it was like there was a invisible wall at 26kBs. But since I upgraded to mild bout 2 months ago, Speed has been great
 
I'm using a Spicy account and I have been getting 30-50KB/s all month except for the odd rare slow downs.
