DigiChilli January Status and feedback

When I wake up in the morning my speeds have been averaging 35KB/s, which lasts more or less till around 9pm, so I think my speeds speed up in the early hours.
 
would like to know how they manage speeds, still using virtual pipes or what. Would be interesting especially when you guys experience these slowdowns at specific times
 
My guess would that they scrapped the virtual pipe system and went back to the old semi shaped system. Also I liked to point out how one day rapidshare/megaupload work and the next it doesn't.

Are they doing work on the system? Probably, explains why our accounts went down and why speeds differ. Just so weird that speeds are actually better when their is supposed to high traffic volumes :p
 
I've only had these since Tuesday when the stopped my account for non payment.
I was in the same boat as you clickme, I had great speeds 24/7 for the past two months and had I known my speeds would drop like this I would of paid for another month a day earlier, Wish Digichilli would notify you when you are nearing the end of your one month contract.

But in all honesty it isn't nearly as bad as it use to be and it seems to have a hell of a lot more Bang for your Buck than Afrihosts 384 uncapped(15gig cap).

They should just fix their credit card payment now. Wonder if they fixed the issues or it was just that everybody left? If its a case of everybody that left, we should post how crap DC still is, so that the whole lot that went to afrihost dont come back here after that disaster;):whistle:
 
Had a pretty good day with DC but speeds slowed down around 15:30pm to about 25kB/s average. Is anyone having problems with SGS Battlefield Bad Company 2 servers with DC? I can't seem to get into anything =/

Yip, I've been getting 38KB/s since I woke up.
My speeds get halved when I near the 3gig mark at the end of the day, It's been like this since I payed for another month on the 13th, I don't really have a problem with 3 gigs a day, but I am curious if anybody else has also had a similar drop.

3gigs per day is fantastic for the spicy package (means you average MORE than the 32kBs allotted for the whole day), so unless you're on the mild or above packages I'd be pretty damn happy with that. (I roughly average around the 2.2 gig mark)
 
I haven't hit the 3 gig mark at all this month. I'm averaging about 2 gigs a day when I actually try. This month so far I've done 34 gigs which isn't bad considering the speeds haven't been exactly great. I wonder how much someone from Afrihost/MWEB/Open/Axxess has gotten since the begining of April? Sad to hear how bad things are going with Afrihost *cringe*.

I think while there is still lots for me to download, I find myself lately going "Okay what the hell should I download next?!" and then I end up just switching the pc off for the night because I've already got half the internet that I want :p:D

I say well done DC you have certainly proved A LOT of people wrong and while you still aren't 100% you are still better than most :) BTW I have only noticed shaping on Rapidshare/Megaupload today, anyone else?

Yep the guys with afrihost is experiencing the same crap we had, in the beginning every question was answered within minutes on the forum, but when the problems started they just disappear. And leave everyone completely in the dark

My usage also went way down. I Download what i really want now. Not like previously were I downloaded to get my money's worth for every meg I paid .
 
It died for like 10 seconds and then it was back to normal. It does that every now and then, thankfully it's not very often.
 
Speeds are dropping to around an average of 28kB/s. I don't think this is DC for some reason, but I could be wrong :o

Still had a great weekend so thanks DC :D
