DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Browsing is horrendously slow ATM. Hopefully news server speeds will pick up again!
 
Dave. are you blocking multi thread HTTP downloads?

I can download a file with the normal firefox downloader, but FDM will not start.

With Afrihost the FDM starts fine

It looks that way. Only one file at a time in FDM works, and even then it's slow.
 
stop complaining and jump ship to SAOL or soemthing... a few rands more with 100% line speed uncapped. does not make sense:confused:

One thing, SAOL do not offer bursting! Thats why DigiChilli are ,for me, the way to go ....

Bursting means that you can go over the alloted 256kbps which is the minimum speed that you will get. This would not really be useful for people who are on a 384 because 32KB/s is already quite close to the full line speed but for people who are on a 4MB line, it is really good because sometimes you get really close the 400KB/s mark which then has a lot more value for money than any other company in terms of the R300-R500 uncapped packages because it allows you to get a lot more out of it...

So as promised, I got back from my holiday and the first thing I did was to sign up for the DigiChilli Spicy Package.:D

Now the question @Dave is, why is it that my 4Mbps line is downloading at the full speed up to 450Kbps? Not that I am complaining. Once again thanks Dave & DigiChilli.:D

Am I going to get one those nasty emails again and/or is my account going to be suspended or is this just temporary. Late Christmas present perhaps?

Does anyone even wonder why Dave suddenly decides to not post in this thread when you get people behaving like this?
