IF DC was "flying" i would be able to play cod 4 mw 2 ... but i cant so they are not flying they are just upping the stupid http that noone cares about. all we want is news servers and games + some torrent . i dont care if the http is slow the rest must be supper fast

HTTP will ALWAYS be the priority on any ISP network....shaping or no shaping. Phone an ISP in the USA and say torrents don't work you'll get a bit of the run around, phone them and say HTTP doesn't work and you'll get taken a little more seriously.

Some people (like anyone who browses any websites since the history of ever) do use HTTP lad and some more of us even use it for downloading :)

i only use http downloading no torrents. get yourself a rapidshare account then you can also download via http

Digichilli, down again. Can't authenticate, and have no connection.

I really wish we could have just one complete day of connectivity. I haven't even downloaded 4 gigs this month yet. Cmon guys

I don't get it...why are you happy? You should be getting nothing les than 32KB/s as that's what DC is promissing with their minimum speed claim...

Yup, the boss is convinced what they offer is fradulent, I'm trying to ask him to be patient, I understand its teething problems, but he has had enough, the sad reality is that they are not up to scratch, not even vaguely.

A business depends on the service from an ISP that has just started up?

DC has had problems with telkom, DoS attacks, bandwidth abuse and upstream providers.

Did your boss even bother to read up on the status reports...?

DC will rock when the teething problems are sorted.

Until then, any business using the service for critical services, is merely being very unprofessional...never mind claiming fraud, when the service has problems...

DC is legit. Perhaps your boss needs to think about how great a boss he is...

Lightscribe - No offense, but it truly amazes me how you always have a defensive answer on behalf of Digichilli.

This is the reason I decided to cancel this morning. I often rely on my ADSL to offer support at work. The way DC has been going, I have to keep on spending money on prepaid internet for this purpose. Its beginning to cost me way too much - and switching accounts is not convenient.
