DigiChilli January Status and feedback

I only use my Premium account for Rapidshare with IDM. I was getting the "stopped by server" error when trying to download, but 6 minutes later it started downloading normally again.

blocked by server, you must just refresh download adress. works for me

Try Jdownloader it works 100% for me, plus as a added bonus some sites (not rapidshare sadly) has resume support though it. You'll need java runtime though.

So far today it's been good, not great but good. Unless my http downloads are multithreaded through the a$$ I can barely get to 30kB/s and above. Torrents are around the 15-25kB/s mark and again pidgin doesn't work.

DC are doing well but need to step it up :p I'll stick with them until another isp can offer what they do - speed isn't everything for me right now ;)

DC is working well for me today. Http downloads on paid rapidshare account works well

I dont want to mention any names, but dont you know that there are other ISP's offering what DC offers? Or do you know something I dont?

Unfortunetly there aren't any other ISP's this cheap yet and I'm pretty sure none of the new uncapped offerings offer month-to-month subscriptions :(

But seems if I'm reading correct there are going to be new High caps and uncapped offerings before long, again not sure but I will remain hopeful :)

I am using JDownloader. Oddly enough I am able to resume downloads with it from RS? The reason I was upset is even if I use my browser to access the page I still get the "server reset" error. As soon as I use my Axxess account I can get the file downloaded with no problems

Ya thinks thats bad...My connection times out the whole time...From my last post untill now i can browse again....

Avg torrent dowloads on a mild package connected to 2 pc's getting avg 5kB/s down

I still can't authenticate...do we need to log separate calls or are they sorting them all out? Are there still guys here who can't authenticate?

OK I'm done. Back on Afrihost and cooled down.

Good luck to DC, I hope it comes right guys. Perhaps in the coming months the network will stabilise. There's always got to be a first.
 
Torrents looking good between 28 KB/s and 30KB/s...

Hope its stays like this, but there's always room for improvement... :D

wow you seem to be lucky hell at the rate i am going dc is hell over priced
i was gone for a week left a 200mb torrent running and what nope it is still not done so that's not even 200mb in a week for R300 no thanks:mad:

Have to say my luck has changed over night, since Friday I also couldn't connect. Send an PM to Dave and got it sorted today. I was one of the unlucky ones whose payment went somewhere, where the sun don't shine... But yeah now it looks better! Even though browsing isn't the best, thats ok. Happy about the Torrents (all Int.)
 
Still waiting for my account to be sorted out - I was assured that someone will call me back this afternoon. Not holding my breath.
