*sighs* Everything but HTTP is shaped into oblivion right now. A simple login to an IRC server takes 2.5 minutes to complete, and it only transfers 40-50 packets in total. I can load a web page faster than that. HTTPS is completely dead for me. I really hope this gets sorted out soon, video streaming is a complete no-go.
Wonder if it's going to be worth the cost of the electricity to keep my machine running for torrents while I am away this week.

If you can get 1kb/s on screamer then you should go for that rather. DC you'll be getting about 0.1kb/s :wtf: Change your browser settings to show text only on websites that should get those pages open :erm:

Not at all. I'm downloading still from steam at 42KB/s for the 3rd day.
Should be finnished soon. How people think a 3 gig cap is good enough when someone releases a 10 gig game I don't know.Okay on a serious note:

Why would you insult the trusted ol 56k dial up connection like that? Its much faster!Maybe DC should consider a rolling 5/10 day cap. Who's doing that? Axxess? Sounds like a much better way at controlling "excessive use" than banning .
Initially you can base the cap on what you "legally" can get with your package, i.e. on 264kbps you will only get +-2.7GB per 24 hours ...so a good rolling 10 day cap would be 27GB [for that package]. So if you're not circumventing some flaw in the system, you will never hit the cap.
