Thank god I didn’t give them my credit card details and paid via EFT.

Tried the “Cool Down” feature on their site to cancel my account but it just opens with a blank page after clicking the blue chilly button. Even their contact page doesn’t allow multi line input and submits when you press enter in the “multiline” input box.

I had a couple of good download sessions but it doesn't begin to make up for all of the downtime.

Sorry to say this but you should have sorted out all the issues before going live and taking people’s money.

SAOL, here I come…

have u read the SAOL T's & C's with regard to uncapped? quoted: R59 per gig for usage over 15gigs

It's probably related to how the've worked out the bandwidth budget I think.

Yup. They said they have made space for x amount of accounts to work in accordance with the bandwidth they own. This is more targeted towards intl I think, as local is more widely available.

Methinks you are looking at the wrong T&C I dont see anything with over 15gigs you have to pay R59 .

http://www.saol.com/adsl20.php

Sorry to bring SAOL website into this thread.

Correct.
Fixed IP is like that.
Fixed (static) IP : All-in-1 allows you ADSL access with a fixed IP and a 15Gig soft cap.

This an uncapped account, the first 15Gigs are free, at the end of the month any usage over and above 15Gigs is billed at R59 per gig. This account is not capped at 15Gigs.

Now back to Digichilli..... uhm..... intl is like close to dead.... still.....

Oh, for heaven's sake can DigiChilli actually READ THEIR FREAKING EMAIL!

I waited patiently since last week, now it is over. I phone and no one phones back. I email multiple times no one responds.

So i'm sorry to say, i went from just asking for a login , to demanding a refund.

Guess i'll visit hellopeter now.

Torrents are going really well! Int. browsing however is still a bit on the slow side. Youtube videos load, but still take a while.

ok on thier home page there is the uncapped ad. when u click there it takes u to the T&Cs it dont say anything when u click thro but it does on the advert... all im saying is when u guys are apply check with them 1st to make sure thats not the case

Hey all,

Whilst we on the topic of DC and internet and so on. Can someone please give me some advice or assistance with the below.

I have a Netgear 834GT, and a Planet 401D. I have a webafrica account setup on my Netgear in router/modem mode, so im runing half bridge. Now i would like to set my Planet 401D to PPPOE my digichilli account through my Netgear router as the DSL modem.

I have setup the config on the planet and it is trying to connect however the log shows delayed response on the pppoe connection and therefore it stops dialing and tries again. I can dial the pppoe from my PC so the netgear is accepting the pppoe bridge dial up.

Any experience from anyone on this or ideas ?
