I did call them and spoke to a different person each time and explained the situation over and over again and they told me that they will send me the details via e-mail... I am still waiting.

I would like to inform you after sending numerous e-mails and calls to your callcentre that I have not received any login details or any explanations what the reason is for not receiving the details.

Looks like he did.

I would also be upset if they havent even sent him his login detils.
 
Authentication still seems to be down , but speeds have picked up again. Hopefully it lasts longer than a minute this time :p

Downloading windows live mail from a US link at 39KB average, multi thread. Single thread seems to be capping at 15KB, but not going below 8KB. Really not sure why this is being limited.

Edit: Ok, single thread download slowly crept up to about 34KB and then slowly dropped down to a stable 10KB again. Kinda odd.

I would be upset but i signed up twice you see. The first signup was ignored, the second (A few days after the second) was picked up immediately and I was up and running within a short while of the money being transferred (I ONLY do EFT with ISPs... I've learned that the hard way with Mweb who I am still stuck with after 12 years - Mom is hooked onto her 12 year-old email address that "everyone" knows)

Um... If authentication is down... HOW exactly are you downloading?

You don't need an app to do that, you can just set it to reconnect in the pppoe connection settings.

Just reconnected here.

I COULD do that... But it's software that I have in a bundle type thing that I just pop a disk into a PC and click a button and it installs everything for me (XBMC, ReConnect, SABNZB, uTorrent, GetRight, UltraVNC, Drivers, DU Meter).

And I like ReConnect cos you can schedule Dial-ups and and shutdowns and tell it to run at startup so your pc will automatically reconnect and start downloading again if the power goes down or the comp restarts.

EDIT: Just opened the Web UI page for uTorrent and it appears that I have indeed reconnected too... Still shocking though. A torrent with 1270 seeds is going at 0.5KB/s with 45 seeds connected.

WOOT WOOT is an indication of the high pitched sqeak I let out when I saw FDM downloaing at a decent speed. I might have smuged my pants a little....

My sister just barged in wanting to know why I was laughing so loud at quarter to ten on a Saturday evening.
 
Bah.

Steam logs in fine but I still can't play anything because it can't connect to the servers. Same thing happens when logging into an MMO, gets past the authentication process but as soon as it searches for server info it just hangs. Is this the result of shaping?
 
ok, so far this is what I have.

Ping Plotter shows no packet loss to any sites. Tested london hosted, A OK
Torrents are slow
No MSN
Facebook seems slowish
No youtube
Shoutcast is still bum
Local speed test is slow
Rapidshare is now coming in at 256kbs, maxed out.
 
Update, looks like they playing with speed limiting, or have reached network capasity.

Was nice and fast, now dropped to 192odd kb/s

Off to bed, see what the night brings.
