Thought I was banned again :P

Hopefully when it gets back up, all will be working 100% without any issues! But whats the chances of that happening..

Where did you read that? Me recalls that Dave said that they're working everyday EVEN the 25th and 1st (only the call center is unavailable those days) excluding a small break during those days for their Techie to have lunch with what we're told is his "mother".

Oh but pretty much the same as everyone else here, dead dead dead connection and now dead dead dead authentication.

Speeds have picked up a bit. Single thread download running at a very stable but slow 10KB. Multi thread running at 40KB. Sites loading faster, etc.

Even steam connected...hmm

And it lasted a grand total of one minute before going slow again. Heh. At least it looks likes something is happening

i HIGHLY doubt it but i hope after this denied login session things should be running as per the norm... as in i hit ATLEAST 2mbps on my line rather than 0.04kbps! f-ing horse crap...

Lost my DC connection completely and now have to use Telkom... bleh! Hope this all gets sorted out soon.

EDIT: getting much much better speeds of Telkom too

Just thought killing my DC connection and retrying would work... It didn't cos I'm also getting auth error. Oh well. at least I have a neat little app called ReConnect that sits and tries 99999 times with 3 seconds between retries to connect.
 
Guys, just a quick post to let you know what I think of Digichilli.

First of all, I signed up for a mild account and they were fast to deduct the money from my account... Needless to say, up to 26 December I have not received the login details. Below are some of the e-mails I send them...

Goodday,

I sent you this e-mail on Friday 11 December to inform you that I have not received my login details yet. Today is Tuesday 15 December and no one has come back to me with the details or phoned me about it. Please supply me with the details ASAP or cancel the account and refund my money.

This is really the worst service I have ever received from any ISP. Signing up with Afrihost was a breeze and I still use them and are very happy with their sevice. I signed up with you guys cause you provide ADSL Uncapped at a very good price. I regret now that I ever did it!

Please tell me what is going on and give me the service or a refund.

I am getting furious with you guys. Friends of mine signed up and all had received their login details.

I would like to inform you after sending numerous e-mails and calls to your callcentre that I have not received any login details or any explinations what the reason is for not receiving the details. I also demand that you refund the R240 that I paid for service that I signed up for nearly 3 weeks ago and had not used cause you don't provide me with the details. I just received a blank email message. You will find the other email I sent you on 15 December explaining the situation. I never had such useless sevice from any company before and I can't believe you are unable to even provide me with a simple thing such as login details.

What is more funny is that a friend of mine signed up a few days ago and have paid and already received his details. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?????

Please give me an explination...you wan't to provide me with a service or refund my money. I am really disappointed.

I am also going to tell friends of mine NOT to use your services, and post it on www.myadsl.co.za

Quite harsh criticism there. Maybe what you should've done is called? Did you?
 
I agree. :D It drives me nuts to have to keep changing the u/n p/w to the DC account.

(Sorry to Double post if I have)

Why don't you do a PPPoE connection in Windows with a WAN Miniport and set your router to Bridge mode? That way you can manage connections easily (I was sick of switching accounts in my router so I've changed to this now)

Isn't it easier to just set up multiple pppoe connections in windows and try re-dialing it now and then? Depressing to have to use such a method though but much less of a pain in the ass than re-configuring a router again and again.
