and then my line is tied to one ISP noway......telkom is where I am staying cause that way I get to use any ISP that I want.....
 
DC working "sort of ok" my side with NO dns settings.
- browsing not bad
- downloads from RS running @ full speed
- youtube...well that's still a BIG problem.....too many buffering :(
 
This might be the dumbest question yet but.... what is a DNS and how does it effect my bandwidth? I would love to be running full speed on rapidshare :/
 
the only problem and im not insulting is that whenever i do an http download it starts of at about 40KBps but then it drops to about 15-16 KBps. i mean its not torrents

oh but i forgot they stil workin on it i presume

it seems to have gone back to good now

Well, i want to try the whole http thing again... but i couldn't be bothered.

it's just hideously slow EVERYTIME i do ANYTHING.

Which as before, is frustrating as anything.
 
man i am happy i did not get the 4 mb uncapped adsl package strait of the bat seriously speeds are just sad.

log in to wow 7k latency at the starting zones lvl 80 don't even wanna log so what get a 4mb account and get 2k lat no thanks

seems like some ppl (would like names don't know how to play fair are raping the rest of the users)

keep seeing updates of we are gonna do this here and then getting a follow up of sorry could not do it not our fault

torrents running on like 0.5 whit 50 seeds

just to clarify i do not blame dave and the lot more like i blame the bunch of bush monkeys not playing fair , who bitched when dc did not launch on the day they said (should just have shut up and let them get the service up and running proper) before going live

Uhm.. 15 or so words? If one can call it that. o.o

Anyways... HTTP browsing is still fine, but any type of downloading sucks. =(
