Maybe the husband would be happy knowing that his loved-ones can have a life without him? I know that my biggest worry when I die isn't the amount of sex my ex will get, it's if she'll be happy to live a life without me. Of course everyone is different.

This sums up my thoughts exactly. I need to be sensible enough to do what's best for everyone involved, and not just myself. It's not an easy thing to do, but at least I can live with myself whatever the outcome is. But geez, the high road can sure be a lonely and boring one!

The thing is this guy's life may be near its end, he won't benefit to move on and find another person even if this lady is a serial cheater because who will want to date/hump/marry someone on their deathbed?
