That explanation seems too convenient. How is it that loads of towers became congested at the same a couple of weeks ago and not before that? I don't think they know where the problem lies and the neotel rep's convenient absence from the forums proves this.Well from discussions with a techie it seems my problem was not related to the tower actually dying but rather due to congestion.
The way the towers work it seems is they accept connections to a certain amount of clients. When there are too many clients connecting to a tower then they just simply wont accept a connection. This kinda sucks if your using a directional antenna and the tower your pointed to does not accept anymore connections.
Basically what it comes down to is that were stuck with disconnections and either learn to live with them or .... dunno...
And as per usual, nothing from the Neotel rep - can't you guys at least SUCK a 'half decent' excuse outta ya thumbs?
The rep was online earlier but he chose to post here http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=194807&page=2 instead of deal with our issues. No reply from Neotel rep, however, Marius from Neotel is supposed to come around to me today after 2pm to do a 'site visit'
Disconnections seem to have calmed down on my side, how are the rest of you?
