For bank info log in on Discovery’s website and go to the Bank tab

Discovery Miles is earned on CC spend

In the bank app, tap on one of your CC transactions to see the earn rate and whether you are over your earn rate threshold. Once it hits the threshold the earn rate drops down - each card colour has a different threshold.

Thanks but I dont have the card yet, I need to figure out if I want one, FNB gives all this info before applying I want to know the base "earn" before I apply. Could you assist with that? It would be non partner spend.

I would suggest you get the CC as most of the benefits are only available on CC like the iphone and apple watch benefits. You get more from the cc than you would from the Transaction account only.

You get benefits on both, but you get more on CC.

On the black its Earn up to 1mile for every R15 of spend. After you reach your monthly spend threshold, all additional spend will earn at a rate of 1 Discovery Miles per R100.

I noticed the discovery Miles conversion to cash is now 10:1 on the app ? When did that change?
 
Ya hopefully they will discount voucher more vouchers like dischem now and drop the spend limit or earning discovery miles.
 
Got a message from discovery that they decreasing the cost of interest rates. But says nothing about decreasing interest earned. My interest earned has decrease.

All banks will do it. If you dont know, an emergency moc meeting yesterday... repo dropped by another 1%
 
Ya I did but discovery just being sneaky and say they just dropping the interest rate they charge. They should also man up and say all interest rate are decreasing.
 
Has anyone ever got prime rate for borrowing on Discovery bank? I am thinking of getting their credit card for apple watch but that rate is nowhere near prime that i have with Investec. I wonder if its worth it.
