Without the credit card, the bank is pretty useless. The benefits dont outweigh the monthly fees at all. I downgraded to Silver and now i am considering downgrading to gold.

Is there anything i should look out for, i am currently using the weekly goals and healthy food purchases from woolworths and PnP.
Oh are they not offering the credit card on the app anymore? At one point it was available? Was considering applying for one. But yeah that's why I stopped using my account because pretty useless without a credit card.

So I was doing easipay payments now via the app, splitting the payments up, all was well except for one transaction after I put the OTP in it accepted the code but then said transaction failed yet the money went off my credit card? Any idea what to do?

It should come back to the account by itself as the transaction will not clear.

Just got to the end of the first month after buying an iPhone on the iPhone benefit. I had my budget installment for the iPhone debited to my card on the 25th and because I met all the goals also had the cashback amounts credited. Awesome, finally something Discovery got right! And then I had the budget installment debited again on the 26th, with no credits...

Thanks so like Ina few days time or so it should be put back on my cc?
The transaction failed message could have been an error. Does the transaction show as Pending in the app or as online payment? If not pending, then you've prepaid whatever account you were paying.

Just had a look at my banking app, all of my transactions for the easy pay payments are showing as pending (I did this sat 28 March) surely by now it should have been approved and gone through as payment

So I can't tell as yet if the one failed transaction (as shown on easy pay app) will go through or reversed as all are showing pending

Yes you can just open a transactional account without a credit card. I have the black transactional account so I get unlimited instant pays. You should be able to open a transactional account but it'll be linked to your CC if you make it a Suite account

There is a fair usage policy but there aren't any hard figures to go by. You'd probably have to call Discovery to find out what those are.
