All of the benefits you mention are linked to Vitality, not Vitality money. The additional 25% gym booster requires a Discovery Bank account, not Vitality money as such. Not sure whether to ask this here or the vitality thread, but considering the healthyfood, healthycare, and gym and flight boosters are now part of the bank, is there still a need to be paying for vitality health?

If you have been following this thread you would realise nothing has been made clear by the bank...So you need to have the bank account AND vitality to get the bank rewards? I feel like that wasn't made very clear by the bank...

You don’t need the bank for any of the Vitality perks, except gym booster. If you don’t have a bank account with Discovery you’ll still get 75% off gym, just not the 100%. But the 100% gym discount is dependent on you achieving your Vitality Active Rewards goals (regular Vitality) anyway. You get additional benefits with Vitality money though - I currently get 41% off healthy food at Woolworths instead of 25%, for example. But if eBucks has taught me anything, it’s that they make it harder and harder every year. So eventually you might in fact need both.So you need to have the bank account AND vitality to get the bank rewards? I feel like that wasn't made very clear by the bank...

Apologies, I misunderstood. Yes you need both.Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I know how regular vitality works as I have it already.

These are the rewards I was asking about. Do you need both regular Vitality AND Bank/Vitality Money to get up to 50% for HealthyFood, or just Bank/Vitality Money?

How did you go from 25% to 41%? I'm still sitting at 25 I have the new platinum card a vitaly money ACC and I'm on silver money status. You don’t need the bank for any of the Vitality perks, except gym booster. Not sure, to be honest. There’s no information available yet. I called to find out what one needs to do to increase the discount, but the banker didn’t really know either. She said something about the number of products you have with Discovery but couldn’t elaborate much. I have car insurance and life insurance with them so maybe that makes a difference. And my Vitality status is diamond. But how that translates into 41%, I have no idea. How did you go from 25% to 41%? A bit off topic. I am same age as you and probably similar income bracket (I would also get the Plat. card.) Can you please enlighten us on what you need to achieve to have Gold Money status.
