Discovery Vitality [2017]

Are you guys seriously happy about this? A small/medium popcorn at the movies, and a few drink choices at Mugg&Bean, like who even asked for that in the first place.

Those service providers asked cos they don't wanna lose out! I would have been happier if Seattle was one of the vendors but they don't want to dilute their brand / rewards to be a 'discovery' supplier. Sorta respect them for adopting this stance.

Would it hurt discovery so much to put a permanent 'donate' option every week instead of occasionally as they do sometimes - I would donate mines 3 out of every 4 weeks. Don't need to put all that 'unhealthy' stuff down my gullet

I tweeted at them about this - I'm out of the country a lot, and can't use my rewards. They replied "We appreciate your feedback. #MoveToGive is campaign based hence we cannot incorporate a permanent option for this."

Anyone that bought a muvit HRM from makro that's not using it anymore, please PM me if you want to get rid of it. I lost mine somehow (think it slid off my shoulder in the gym parking lot)

Thanks

So due to sickness I have not been able to reach a Discovery goal in 2 months and the interesting fact is my monthly goal is still sitting at 900 points. It seems Discovery ups the weekly goal quickly but avoids lowering it at all costs.

Any advice on a cheap step counter? I'm looking for a step counter (nothing else) that does not require my phone to be linked at all times, although I don't mind syncing every now and then. I think one of the FitBit wrist bands can do this, but at R2k+ are there any cheaper alternatives?

Thanks

I am also looking for two team members. I'm being let down by my current team. I reach my targets every week. Please PM

I've also been sick for two weeks, I read somewhere that if you send them your doctors note they can reduce your goals, I didn't get a sick but prescriptions. I've emailed discovery no response.

Granted their weird 'algorithm' makes no sense sometimes but that does sound quite odd. Are you wanting to get free smoothies or is it for an Apple watch to pay off?

My target has been stuck on 600 for like 4 weeks straight making goal. I think i was on 300 around new years or possibly even as far back as December 2016 and I've been making target every week since then.

I bought one at Totalsports, Menlyn Park about a month ago.

Do we get points already if we do a Runtastic workout from the Apple Watch? Last time I tried this it didn't reflect. Runtastic offers a lot of things that Apple by default doesn't, like interval training etc, but I don't really want to lose out on my points.

Anyone try redeeming a reward at Mugg & Bean? At 2 separate locations they told me their systems were down and it wasn't working for discovery

They also tried that with me with and then changed it to 'the only person who knows how it works isn't there'. I told them it was a good chance for others to try it out and eventually they gave in and I got my coffee.

However, unlike at Vida where you can buy something more expensive and then just pay the difference, their 'system' only allows you to buy those specific drinks, even if you want to pay the difference, which is quite silly.
