Discovery Vitality [2017]

When I press "Sync Now" the circle starts spinning and then stops without syncing any data to the Discovery App.

I've since managed to get it to sync by disabling the sharing of "Workouts" in the Apple Health app. Hope this doesn't cost me any points. View attachment 411320

Well if you dont allow Discovery to access workouts then you wont get any points for workouts your complete. How do you know if isnt syncing your data? The App has just been updated with some fixes, update and see if it helps?

I see shoe booster is available on the app in active rewards, for those wanting new running shoes

Thx. I'm on the latest version of the app.

I know the Sync fails cause the last updated date and time doesn't change within the Discovery App.

Able able to easily get my 200 points for 70% of max HR at gym now with mix of cardio (10 min) and thereafter weight training. Seems once you get warmed up and HR elevated it's much easier to keep it above 70%.

Finally joined, and would like to get some team members just pm me for my details.

Must say the virgin active at Menlyn Main is one awesome set up they got going on there.

Yeah, but to benefit, you need to pay R200. It is easier to go to a running shop and negotiate for a better price. Less trouble and cost

I agree on the more trouble thing, but cost? Rubbish. Pay R300, get all your goals for a year and you'll get your money back monthly. So R300 for R2000 shoes. I doubt running shops are that negotiable

15 /25% cash back (healthy gear) regardless of active rewards

The one major advantage of a running shop is somebody that can assist you in buying the correct shoe.

If you do the sums and the stats. That R300 is the amount to cover the 'money back' on average as I'm sure that the amount of people that reach all their goals a year are a few.

Why pay extra for an incentive when you already pay for vitality?

I don't know the stats for people on Vitality as a whole, but as an individual, you can meet your goals easily every week with a little effort. If you don't meet your goals then that's your fault - don't complain about having to pay for the shoes if you don't meet your goals.

Agreed its not for everyone. But if you're already doing the rewards for your 2 flights , weekly smoothies , gym membership, apple watch and diamond status, might as well maximise and get the running shoes as well.

I agree we all ready pay for vitally why should we pay the R300, I wish they were flexible and allow squash shoes as well, as that is what I play 2-3 times a week

Does anyone know if the shoe booster has a list of shoes they allow?
Otherwise is it any shoe that has the healthy gear logo, allowing cashback?

Can anybody expand one the 2 flights thing?
