Discovery Vitality [2017]

Anybody know why a Active reward would just fall away? I had a reward from the week before, and was only due to expire on the 19th July, didnt use it or redeem it anywhere, until yesterday, when i tried redeeming it, and it was gone. Nowhere to be found?

Checked Digital Cards if it was redeemed, nothing? Just Gone.

that's never happened to me.
i did however have an issue with my reward some weeks back (wicode wasn't recognised at kauai). i mailed vitality about it, and they sent me a new/ replacement reward about a week after i contacted them. surprisingly they didn't give me any grief about it
so i'd suggest you give it a try - always worth a shot

I actually did on Monday, and the guy called me yesterday saying there was some issue. And he asked me who my preferred provider is, and he said he will send me my voucher today.

I have space for 2 more people on my Vitality Active Rewards. I get my points pretty much every week. PM me

Is it possible to view the HealthyCare statement? I can pick up the HealthyFood and HealthyGear statements but not the HealthyCare.

So I dropped my Apple Watch last night, and the screen smashed. Now I see I'm an idiot since the replacement and fix of screen is 2-3k.

So I'm rather going to buy a new watch, however not sure if I should do it now or wait for the 3rd iteration. Or switch to something else...

So. I need to still to steps. What's the cheapest "nice" stepper that works? I've got a Fitbit at home, however it's for the wife, and I think it's 1500 new. Am trying to get an interim stepper for less than that, till I buy a new watch. Any advice?

Ordered the Garmin Fenix 3 Saphire on takealot deal yesterday. 7k for the watch seemed like a reasonable price. Can't bring myself to buy another Apple Watch after the death of my old 1.

Anyhoo. Vitality weight loss rewards.
I signed up when this went active. Was 93.4 on their scale. Did weigh in as part of the vitality checks. Spent the next 12 weeks logging weight loss once a week at 20pts ashot. Then did my weigh in last week and scored 2500 pts for dropping to 85.7. Haven't seen the extra healthy food benefit come through yet. But the 2500 pts was nice. The cost of the extra weigh in was 30bucks at clicks. And took 15mins for it to show up on the app on my phone.

Some noob questions...

I have an iPhone 5S which has a step counter and GPS, but no heart rate monitor. Presumably, then, all I need is a Polar H7 or H10 (or similar), and I can then get points for steps, heart rate and speed workouts.

I.e. I can already get the points for steps; so with a HRM I can now get (say) the light workout points, and presumably the Polar Beats app on the iPhone can track the distance & time (i.e. speed). Is that right, or do I need yet another device for speed workouts?

Secondly, can I get points for multiple items on the same run, i.e. speed + heart rate? Presumably it won't deduct the steps from my daily total, so a run should contribute to the 10k steps...

Thanks

1. Yes, the chest strap + HRM will work, you'll just need to have your phone with you on the run, or whatever you do, because the strap has no memory.

2. You'll only get 1 event per day, whichever is the highest. As in, if you get 10k steps (100 points) and a 30 mins 80% heart rate run (300 points), in the same day, you'll only get 300 points for the day, not 400

If anyone is wanting to get rid of a Kauai voucher PM me.

I'm all out and feeling like a smoothie :D

I also have trouble with my insure cashback. So much that Im considering a change.

signed up for shoe booster last month.

was beginning to worry when the payment didn't come in same time as healthy food cashback so i mailed them last week and they indicated i'd get it after the 10th of august when the healthy gear monthly cycle ends

payment reflected in my account today: month 1 of 12 done!

Is it possible to view the HealthyCare statement? I can pick up the HealthyFood and HealthyGear statements but not the HealthyCare.

This is a source of immense frustration to me. HealthyCare cashback gets paid directly into your Clicks or Dischem card, and the cashback is amalgamated with whatever other "normal" Clicks or Dischem cashback you would get, for non HealthyCare items. As opposed to HealthyFood and HealthyGear, which get refunded to either your Discovery credit card or bank account. Trying to make sense of the Clicks and Dischem cashback schemes is near impossible. Believe me - I've tried.

I made a large-ish HealthyCare purchase at Clicks back in October last year and noticed there was no "V" indicator on the till slip. I started correspondence with Vitality, and would get "we understand this is out of the turnaround time but have escalated this query". A month would go by, I'd email again, and get the same response. I had lengthy phone conversations with Clicks trying to get to the bottom of things - to try and figure out whether the cashback for this purchase actually was ever credited, because I could never reconcile the points I thought I should have at Clicks, with the points I actually got. Eventually I got a breakdown from Clicks which showed what was actually credited as HealthyCare cashback, which was the wrong amount, then back to Discovery. They said they never got the info from Clicks; Clicks said they'd sent the info to Discovery. It just went on and on and on. Eventually, it was resolved on 23 June and they credited me with the correct cashback.

Trying to get a detailed breakdown from Dischem of points earned is even harder. So, I suspect that both Clicks and Dischem make constant errors with this, and that many Vitality members never get the full HealthyCare cashback that is due to them.

Anybody having issues this week with Suunto Movescount data not being synced with Vitality?
Have 2 activities now (Sunday and Tuesday) that has not yet updated.

Have mailed them and still waiting for feedback but I'm wondering if the issue is on my side or are there others also affected?

Same here, last activity was synced on Saturday, Sunday is missing.

Does anyone else have issues with the new Vitality Rewards which can no longer be deleted from your iPhone wallet?

And don't specify the expiry dates.

I noticed the 'no expiry date' issue once on Android... It struggles to load my Digital cards screen and once loaded it's really sluggish when swiping them left and right. Looking now, I've got smoothie rewards going back one year under my digital cards! Trying to delete the first one and it's taking ages.

Edit: Correction, it's not happening at all...

^Oh gosh. After 3 months of no smoothies and dozens of queries with Vitality, yesterday and today my 300 point workouts synced correctly...

Don't tell me there's another flop on the horizon...
