Discovery Vitality [2017]

Thanks Bruce! I didn't apply for that but maybe Discovery know something about my athletic ability that I don't!

Shouldn't be the case unless you took the high performance fitness assessment and achieved a level of 6 or 7. If not, give them a call and explain. Max should be 900 for non level 6 or 7 members

This is what my Active Rewards dashboard looks like today. Assuming Discovery is busy with maintenance.

How long does it typically take for race events' point to reflect?

Has anyone won (or know someone who has won) a surprise award other than the "core" reward which is the usual coffee/smoothie/drink reward? And - shouldn't Discovery be announcing names of winners somewhere for bonus/retail/grand/dream prizes?

Three weeks ago I could choose from a selected breakfast at kuaia or side Nandos meal, today was only between breakfast so seems they removed Nandos side meal?
They do announce the winner of the holidays on their Facebook page

Urg so buddy rewards are officially no more ? Didn't get one today... 1 smoothie a week is not the same as 2.... :(

Not sure, but for peace of mind i usually just do a manual entry as soon as the race results are available online - when done that way they usually award the points within 24 hours of my submission

Seems the Nandos side meal has been removed from the rewards

I have received 2 x R100 vouchers and 1 x core reward so far.

I did a HR workout, 30 mins @ >80% of max HR, but I forgot to stop the timer on my fitness tracker! By the time I realized, obviously my HR was down and my average HR was between 70 & 80%. So - is there any way I can get 300 pts for this workout instead of only 200?

Nah.... Just do it again tomorrow :)

From Discovery website:

You can earn Vitality points for taking part in timed and verified race events. Your points for these events come through to us in the following ways:

Vitality automatically receives your race data.
Once we've received the verified data from the timing company or race organiser, your points will be automatically uploaded if you have completed the event. The Vitality race events calendar lists the races from which Vitality points are automatically uploaded.

You claim online for Vitality Race Events
For those events that are not included on the Vitality race events calendar and still qualify as timed and verified events, you can upload your results by completing the online form. Make sure to upload a copy of your race certificate or proof of your results.

Please allow for up to four days for the points to reflect on your Vitality Points Monitor.
