Good marketing can make a turd look and smell like a juicy sausage. Discovery does have good marketing to keep the peeple investing in their "Vitality".
If you choose to integrate your long term or short term insuraornce, certain investments with your health plan and Vitality, you get premium discounts and added savings dependent on your Vitality status
Yes there was a post about it on their fb page today, apologizingAnyone else noticing the heavy Vitality processing delay? Seems like a 36hr delay processing stats

Discovery Vitality Fitness points:
Due to an interruption in our integration platforms with fitness device partners, many workouts completed since the beginning of January haven’t synced yet. We are aware of this issue and our team is working around the clock to resolve this. All points will be reflecting over the weekend and Vitality Active Rewards goals will be adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your patience.
^ OK that sucks.
I sent in my discovery card account closure form at close of business on the 2nd of Jan.
By 2pm on the 4th they mailed me to confirm the account was closed.
Nature of complaint:
Discovery refuses to close complainant's credit card account despite A) payment being made in full and B) signed and completed account closure form being received.
Discovery claims that said signed and completed account closure form is unreadable, but is unwilling to accept alternatives. In order for complainant to close account, he must accrue additional expenses and effort in order to print out said form. Complainant does not own a working printer. Thus, in order to close complainant's account, he must make use of third party services. This not only puts the burden and expense on complainant, but would also mean that less advantaged complainants with less financial resources would be put at a grossly unfair burden when attempting to close their accounts.
Complainant suggested alternative means of valid consent being provided - such as a recorded telephonic conversation or specifying to agree to required terms and conditions via email. Discovery rejected these alternatives and insists upon a signed and completed account closure form.
In addition to the burden and expense of printing and signing forms (already attempted once), complainant points out that:
1. Paper based forms are more likely to be the subject of fraudulent attacks as complainants could substitute new bank account details.
2. As Discovery rightly points out, paper based forms can be difficult to read due to A) image capture technology, B) handwriting variances. Based on this, it is unclear why Discovery insists upon its paper based form.
Complainant would like it noted that because of Discovery's failure to proceed with account closure as originally agreed as per the email received 29th December 2017, a further debit order of R4000 was taken from his FNB bank account on the 2nd of January 2018. While Discovery has reversed this transaction on their side, they have still not refunded the amount of R4000 to complainant. Discovery thus owes complainant R4000.
Complainant's desired remedy is the immediate cancellation of his account by Discovery. He agrees to abide by any terms and conditions required by Discovery for closure of his account, as long as he can warrant said agreement by means other than the paper based account closure form. In other words, Discovery must provide an alternate means of effecting account closure. This is important not only to individuals such as complainant who do not have ready access to a printer, but also other disadvantaged account holders such as the sight impaired.
Complainant also requires that the R4000 owed to him is returned by Discovery into his FNB account, details to follow.
^ How does that work, they reversed the 4k but it doesn't reflect on your side?
On another note, how quickly can one improve cholesterol by a change of diet? This is with regard to getting a good cholesterol result for the health check. I need to lower my overall reading from 6.02 (last year) to below 5 to get the bonus points.

Changing diet might only slightly reduce cholesterol level. Cholesterol level is an individual thing, some people have a naturally higher level whether or not they on a good diet. Well that's how my doctor explained it to me^ How does that work, they reversed the 4k but it doesn't reflect on your side?
