Yes it does.. colleague hit it last year. Basically its the same number as the 5k steps, 10k steps. once hit it no more 300 points.

PS. does the fitness assessment fall under fitness points? Curious

He probably hit the 30000k points limit for fitness for the year. The limits for 5k and 10k steps are there to force you to do more.
 
Perhaps this has been mentioned already but I can't find the answer: when do new Discovery Miles get loaded onto your account? Is it only once a month? Is it the same day each month?. My balance hasn't changed for a few weeks...

Mine gets loaded every 19th of the month. Day after my CC statement.
 
Mine is the day after my billing cycle closes

In other news , did anyone take part in the discovery diamond drop competition they ran on twitter a few weeks ago? Have you won a diamond?

Guys its my first year with discovery and i have just got to Gold and i have a question on how do i maximise on the benefits

Not sure if i should take out the Discovery CC because i am sitting at about 100000 point i have read somewhere that if you have the CC and active the miles then half of those point can be converted into miles,what other benefits can i use.

On the app is says 5 diamonds gets you two return tickets to Dubai from JHB/CPT, or a family holiday at Sun City or Wild Coast for 2 adults and 2 children (doesn't say how long, I am assuming 2 nights).

I did, a few days later I got a PM that I won a diamond and that it will be allocated to me by the end of this week. I am expecting it to reflect on Wednesday when the rewards are issued.

I’d say it depends on your credit card spend and how much of your day to day medical aid you use because that determines how much percent you get back.

It’s not worth it for me because I earn more on ebucks on my FNB cc spend so I can’t get enough credit card spend on my discovery credit card to get this benefit.
Also waiting a year for the rewards is a long time

Edit: if you currently don’t have a better rewards program and your return is more than the cost of the discovery miles then it might be worth it for you.
