Discovery Vitality [2018]

On the Discovery Bank FAQ:

"You aren’t yet a Discovery Bank client yet, but as a Discovery Card client you’ll be first in line to get your new credit card when we’re ready. Be one of the first clients to join - add your name to the list and we’ll contact you as soon as our staff beta test is complete, early in 2019. "

Any idea how to "add your name to the list"? Or is that not necessary for Discovery Card holders?
In the email there is a green "watch for more" icon. Select it and scroll down to the bottom. There is a form to complete with your details.

So would I can eld my current discovery cc and get their new one? Will their new one be linked to get miles etc?

As I understand they will be buying these cards out if fnb's financing.

From the moneyweb website

"Once the bank is open, in March, its existing 300 000 Discovery Card customers will be able to ‘upgrade’ to a Discovery 1 account. "

Great thanks walterl. Will probably open an account and test it for a year. Still have my main Standard Bank account but might be a good option for a secondary account depending on the fees vs rewards system.

I'm keen hey. I can't see why you wouldn't want to. Unless the fees are ridiculous. Or they require you to deposit your salary in there every month.

I personally wont use Discovery bank. If I could move my medial aid away, I would do that too. For now I will make use of the vitality benefits that I can.

They will probably want your salary deposited there.
From the email with FAQs which they just sent me, it seems you can have a credit card account, still have vitality benefits, and not have to do anything else (like deposit your salary there)

I meant more from achieving the highest reward levels you will probably need multiple products including a cheque account for debit orders, etc. I'm just speculating and I'm sure they want to drive your behavior to do all your money related items with them.

I think that will definitely be the approach. :)

Is anyone else's vitality drive still stuck from last week's kms? It should have been reset yesterday but mine is still showing achieved in the ful circle from last week?

My daughter (7) gets 100pts for visiting the gym when i take her swimming. I see that as "bonus" pts since its not coming out of my / my wifes 30k fitness pot.

Does anyone know from what age she could wear a fitness device and add 100pts for 10k steps?

For some reason my weekly rewards target has disappeared in my app. I can see a drive goal for the week but the card for weekly rewards has not been visible today.
