Discovery Vitality 2020

Yea but at least your max is higher and it looks like if you meet your other goals you get a chance higher miles. I like the voucher discounts though.
The voucher discounts will be great. We buy at Dis-Chem often.

It would be nice if you could add vouchers together. Like the steam credits of 80. I’d need 10 to buy a game on steam. Same for Dis-Chem, I had 6 Dis-Chem vouchers to use, and it takes forever.

I also like the discounts. I see coming up will be up to 25% instant discounts at some shops based on vitality status when using miles. I wonder if we will still get the usual cashback after paying with miles. Say you got the 25% instantly at PnP for groceries when you pay in miles, do you still get your cashback for healthy food at the end of the cycle?
I once used a gift card at Sportsman Warehouse and the gift card portion of the spend was not included in the cashback.

I’m using miles to buy electricity at 15% off. Seemed like a good idea...

I’m very much into ebucks. But must say the return atm on healthy food/care and shoe benefit for me has been great. 22000miles.

Very stoked

The new virgin actives ...meh might be time to ditch vitality
I would do the same, however - i'm still on the old school free gym benefit, and kids are linked to my card without the extra kids payment. i'm still keen to keep it going as i hope things settle.

What do you mean
New virgin actives post lockdown are not going to be worth going to . Nothing against virgin active but just my personal view and also no saunas . So without virgin active is vitality worth it as no kulula.com as well and no other travel benefits .

Oh yes I saw that, well if I achieve my goal I get gym fees paid back, but if I was paying and not receiving all the facilities like I used to at VA,it will be disappointing,I play squash there mainly

Is the gym visits still going to be a thing to keep your discounts? I only used to go VA when it rains and I could not go to the gym in our complex.

We'll have to wait and see what Discovery do about this once the gyms reopen. I do not want to exercise in a mask, so until (if?) things settle and we don't have to wear masks, I'm not going to the gym. I'll continue getting my points for HR at-home workouts. Luckily I did my 36 visits between 29 November and lockdown, so I don't have to worry about losing my benefit until November. If masks are still compulsory by then - I guess I'll have to join the "swipe in and have a smoothie" brigade.
