Looking at the new format, a realistic average for me would be silver... Ie 20 percent cash back based on having both car and home insurance. I currently average a cash back of around R550 and expect this to drop to around R400 under the new format. Seems just a convoluted way to give you less, unless you hardly ever drive.Yeah you can get double the amount in cash back - up to 3000 points
Earn up to R1,500 in fuel cash back every month for driving well
Yeah. Since the changes to the Vitality money weekly goals I've been wondering if it's still worth me staying with them. Now with the loss of 5% on the banking suite, iPhone benefit falling away, and the new Vitality drive changes they're making the decision that much easier. I'll hang around for a month or two and see how much I get out in reality, but my initial calculations suggest I'll be losing out over the old system.Looking at the new format, a realistic average for me would be silver... We're you getting 50% before?Looking at the new format, a realistic average for me would be silver... Ie 20 percent cash back based on having both car and home insurance. Yes, was on 50 percent. I averaged 1100 points per month. Most were from the eye gym, night driving and completing online courses etc. Driving points averaged 18 to 20 most week days(the 60 and 40kmph speed limits are impossible to follow on my particular routes! ) . I estimate to get to around 2000 of the 3000 possible points, that places you on silver and even with home insurance, that's only 20 percent.... R400, based on the lower value between points earned or fuel spend. We're you getting 50% before?
I was ,make sure you have contents worth not R30000 covered . If you can get 50/60 points a day x 30. Plus 300 for twt check
300 no late Night time drive.claim free years for 300 and no long distance is also 300 .
Why do you estimate you'll be on silver ?
wow, bastards. Same here...Effective 1 July 2023, your fuel cash back will not be able to more than your vehicle premium (excluding VAT).
Sneaky fine print in thr email.
I have low car premium(due nonclaim.and being known diamond ) so which means I'll actually be getting less cash back with 3.0 than 2.0
Mad

Yes fuel cashback capped at R1500 .
I'm so pissed off that I'll never get more than my vehicle premium like I said which is low. Stupid fine print.
From.their email. My vehicle premium is R600 so thats the max I'll get with 3.0Yeah I know about the R1500 cap. Can't find mention about the vehicle premium cap. eg. if premium is R1000 the cap is R1000 instead of R1500. Can't see that.
The previous cap was R800 by the way. Now it's R1500 with VD 3.0. The cap almost doubled.

Obviously will vary wildly deping on location, security, risk profile etc ...mine is R380 for contentsAnyone have an idea of what the household insurance of R300k is +-? Right now only have vehicle insurance
